TREASURER'S REPORT - 2023 CHURCH ACCOUNT The opening balance for the church account is £51,624. 95. During the year attendance was disappointing and this meant our givings suffered. Freewill Offering was £28,402.45, this was down £1,490. Sunday collection Ivas £504.00- this was up £250.00. Harvest envelopes was £835.00 an increase of £170.00. Charity givings were down £15.00 to £280.00 and Gift Sunday was £155.00, down £60.00. Investment Income was £2,416,94, down £120.00 and endowment income was £1,943.91. There was no change here. It is hoped that with interest rates on the rise Endowment and investment income will increase this year. As you can see listed expenditure is somewhat the same as last year and this totalled £36,180.75 and this left a closing balance in hand of £59,448.46- an increase of approx. £8.000.00. PROPERTY ACCOUNT Opening balance £20,854.21. Subscriptions were £4,400.00 - this was down £211.00.
