How the Organization is constituted The Articles of Association were updated on 23rd February
2016. Public Benefit Requirement. The Trustees have had regard to the Public Benefit
R8quirement statutory guidance.
Chairperson's Report The group have been working hard initially over the past 8 years to secure
funding for a State of the Art 4G All Weather Pitch, and have successfully achieved thi5 goal with
the pitch completed. The Ballyhornan Centre was closed half of the year due to Covid 19. The
pitch was just finished before the pandemic; therefore it could not be used. We also have been
lobbying for social housing in the Ballyhornan area and hope to be successful very soon. The
Centre committee members pride themselves in the on-going projects with the Family Centre. The
Centre offers Birthday Party facilities to the community at weekends and we are inundated with
bookings throughout the year. On a weekly basis we have 5 A Side Football, Irish Dancing, Indoor
Hurling, Youth Forum, Biggest Loser, Gym facility, Office facility etc.
