Chairperson’s Report
The group have been working hard initially over the past 8 years to secure funding for a State of the Art 4G All Weather Pitch, and have successfully achieved this goal with the pitch completed and in full capacity daily.
We also have been lobbying for social housing in the Ballyhornan area and hope to be successful in the near future.
The Centre committee members pride themselves in the on-going projects with the Family Centre.
The Centre offers Birthday Party facilities to the community at weekends and we are inundated with bookings throughout the year. On a weekly basis we have 5 A Side Football, indoor activates for local kids. A mother and baby class called “Stay and Play”
We have started a social gathering class this year. The local elderly people come to the centre on a Tuesday and we carry out activities for them and provide food. This gives them a day to get out of the house to socialise with other people
Over the next year we are working on starting more activates for the local kids at the centre.
Yours Truly
