DRFCA annual report 2017-18 

Throughout these twelve months, members of Dunfield Residents’ and Friends’ Conservation Association have monitored developments on the Old Quarry site. We have kept both the local community and the wider area up to date with what’s happening.  Our FB page is updated regularly and we have been interviewed by local media to heighten awareness of our aims and work. 

Officers have maintained contact with voluntary and statutory bodies involved with the overall development of the area, to share our views and ethos. The response has been largely supportive and we remain indebted to Community Planning NI for their continuing advice and guidance. 

The second print run of our Dunfield local history booklet has all but sold out. The associated display was on show in Hillcrest Community Centre for a month and attracted widespread interest.
