Sharing Christ in Romania Annual report 2023.

We visited Romania twice this year during May for 4 days, and September for two weeks, again visiting Christian Orphanages, widows, churches, helping with various aspects and needs. We noticed that much of our purchases where much more expensive, due to the situation worldwide.

During May, we were invited for the official opening of the new church building in Gaisnai, near Bucharest.

We had a total spend this year of over £ 103,000.00 and had a terrific visit, bringing relief to many widows, family’s orphanages and various projects this year.

We again bought winter tyres for vehicles, these vehicles are used to distribute the food, potatoes, and equipment we buy, to the villages etc.

This year we purchased 8 ton of potatoes, for various orphanages and old people’s homes, and also some for-home visits of widows, and under-privileged families.

We were able to help with some repairs to homes, where people had holes in their roofs to try and stop the rain coming in, this will be quite a relief for these families.

We were able to travel into The Ukraine, and financially help a few projects there. We again sent some money into the Republic of Moldova, one charity being a Sunday school for village and street children, we gave them £1000. We also left some money for another charity, who work with poor families and street people.

We visited the Metro many times to but food for making up food bags for the people in the villages, and had a spend of over £6000 for food.

We again helped some people with medical expenses, some who were rather unwell, and helped with medication for some rather ill people.

Our visit was very busy, early mornings and late evenings, but feel that the visit was very fruitful.
