**Purposes:** The Association is established to promote the preservation and protection of the health of people suffering from, or recovering from, eating disorders Anorexia & Bulimia and Binge Eating Disorder, by encouraging sufferers to provide mutual support and encouragement to each other and in particular:  (a) to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, education or other leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for people suffering from eating disorders; (b) to raise awareness among the general public about eating disorders.
