## **Midland Boxing Club** 

**Annual Report For the year ended 31/03/24** 

The refurbishment work on the clubhouse was completed and we were able to move back in June 2023.  The official opening was in August. Numbers have increased with new junior members joining. The club has continue with training, shows and competitions and boxers have done well in most competitions. In April, Gary McComb reached the final of the All Ireland finals The club has continued a cross community programme and also started a partnership with the PSNI to keep young people from involvement in anti-social behaviour. The club featured in a TV documentary on the 25th anniversary of the GFA. In September the Lord Mayor visited the Club to present an award from BCC for contribution to sport. Boxers travelled to USA as part of a cross community boxing team.
