## **Midland Boxing Club** 

**Annual Report For the year ended 31/03/23** 

The club has continued to operate while work commenced on the refurbishment and extension of the club building.  The club took on a 1 year Lease on Woodvale Bowling Pavilion while work is ongoing.  Numbers have been steady even with the move to temporary premises 3 miles away. The club has continue with training, shows and competitions and boxers have done well in most competitions. The club has continued a cross community programme and also started a partnership with the PSNI to keep young people from involvement in anti-social behaviour. Boxers travelled to London to box in a boxing club show. In March 2023 Gary McComb won a place in the All Ireland finals to take place in April 2023.
