within these statements. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence
required within an audii and as such no audii opinion on whether the accounts present a

Responsibilities of the Trustees
The charity's trustees are responsible for preparing the T￿Stee$ Annual Report and the
rinancial statements in accordance wilh applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting

The law applicable to charities in Northern Ireland require5 the tru5tee5 to prepare
financial statements for each year which give a tru¢ and fair view of the state of affairs of
the charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity for
that period. In preparing these financial statements, the trustees are required to:

Observe the methods and policies and principles in the charities SORP.
Make judgements and estima￿5 that are reasonable and prudent.
State whether applicable accounting stsndards have been followed, subject to any
material departures disclosed and explained in the financial S￿lementS.
Prepare the financial slatements on the going concern b&sis unless it is
inappropriate to presume thai the Charity will continue in operation.
The trustees a￿ responsible for keeping proper accounting records that dRsc105e with
reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charit), and ¢nabl¢ them to
ensure that the financial statements compl). th.ith the Charities Act (Northem Ireland)
1964. The Trustees are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and
hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other
irregularities.
