The PTA aim to improve relationships
befv￿en home and school. the benefit which
flows from this purpose includes funding for
addrtional resources for the school and inks
buift wilh the local community. This is
demonstrated throLh3h having an active PTA
thal works in partnership wrth the school and
engages parental support. The benefit is for
the children at Garryduff Primary School and
its purpose does r￿t lead lo harm. Charity
Trustees {committee Members) are usually
also parents al the school which their
children attend and hence gain benefit in the
same way as all other beneficiaries. This
benefit is identical and necessary to ensure
the benefit is provided to all beneficiaries.
Advancing the education of puplls in the
school The benefit which flows from this
purpose includes increased educational
progress and attainment of pupils in the
school and links built with the local
community. This is demonstrated through
pupils having access to resources. evenls,
activities and links with the local community
which are not available through direct school
funding. This purpose does not lead to harm.
The benefit 1$ for Child￿n at Garryduff
Primary School. Charity trustees {PTA
committee members) are usually also
parenls at the school whiGh their children
attend and hence gain benefft in the same
way as all other beneficiaries. Thi5 benefit is
incidental and necessary to ènsure the
benefit is provided to all beneficiaries.

The PTA arrange 1 large fundraiser event
each lemi. these include a Chnstmas craft
fair, a school fair and an end of year BBQ
and sponsored walk which allows teachers
parents and students the ability to engage in
a more relaxed soual aspect. We also
arrange other in school fundraisers which
promote hea￿hY eating and enable the
children to develop their rAsh handling and
barterin
skills.

Main achievements of this yea¢s fundrai$ing
has been the purchase of S new iPads which
cost £1,845 and reading malerials for the
school at a cost of £1,294.

covid materials which was to try and ensure
that the school was protected in a small way
from Covid-19.

The charity has a healthy financial position
as at 3111 August 2021 which will be ever
more essenlial due to the limitations placed
on the fundraising activitie$ and cancellation
of planned events due to covid-19.
The PTA has raised a significant amount of
money for a school with lèss than 80 pupils.
The low level of resources expended to raise
the amount is due to the dedication of the
Trustees and Members in helping and
supporting the events held during the year.

The PTA is continuing with its long-temi
fundraising to purchase iPads for use within
the cla$sroom$ of Garyduff Primary School
following the purchase of iPads for staff in
2016. This year we re￿iVed a grant which
allowed us to purchase some iPads which
covered 80% of the cosl of the equipment.
Due to the pandemic. we have had to Cancel
plans for fundraising events that were in
lace for the start of 2021 and ada

meeting via Zoom. We were able to hold
some fundraising activities towards the end
ofthe end but these were different to nomal.
We hope that with the lifting of ￿$trictIonS
next year will be closer to nomal.
