## Activities

**Purposes:** -Promote interest in Flute musical traditions within Ireland Scotland and overseas. Preserve the existing repertoire of flute music.  -Develop the genre through the production of new work and encourage its continued enjoyment and acceptance within the whole population of Northern Ireland.  -Encourage persons of all ages and sexes to develop their instrumental skills and talents.  -Provide tuition in the instruments and in the relation skills and competencies.   Establish a community based initiative in co-operation with other relevant organisations to promote the activities of the band and any constituent bodies or groupings in furtherance of the above objectives.
