This is done throu8h the dissemination of God's Word, giving Biblical guidance as how to obtain a relationship with God and to continue to live in a manner that is pleasing to God. This is summed up in our mission statement which is, 'To Know Jesus and Make Him Known" Calvary Braid Valley has been fortunate in that those who have benefited from our activities include not only the regular members of the church, but also many members of the wider community of Ballymena as well as the surrounding borough. Having a meeting place located in the town centre of Ballymena proves to be a convenient location to be able to provide fellowship, support and encouragement to many people in the area. For example, the church's 'Thrive" ministry, which benefits the public by giving the opportunity for those facing loneliness and isolation to have connection with others, has grown and expanded. During the period covered by this fiscal year, CBV was able to host many events and activities open to the general public and for their benefit. These include hosting one of a 4-week cross-community mid-day Advent services, and participating in the preparation of and hosting a community prayer space one day a week throughout the month of March, as well as public showing of films. CBV also arraigned for a public concert in Ballymena of world-renounced classical guitarist Rodrigo Rodriquez. CBV..,-,,.,,.,¢> Also, our online presence has enabled us as a church to host as well as be in attendance of group meetings for prayers, Bible study and a women's Bible study that are open to the public. In the performance of all the above activities we were able to continue to bring comfort, encouragement and hope to many people both within our church and in the community at large. Calvary Braid Valley was able to assist our local Broughshane Improvement Committee's holiday festival by providing volunteers With joyful spirits to participate in running a booth. The Trustees of Calvary Braid Valley have kept in mind the Charity Commission's statutory public benefit guidance in ensuring that the plans and decisions they have made in re8ards to carrying out activities are for the purpose of public benefit. This is in accordance wlth the constitution of Calvary Braid Valley, which governs the administration of the church. In addition, no one from CBV or any members of the Trustees have incurred any private benefit from the activities of the church On behalf of the trustees of Calvary Braid Valley this is our statement of activities performed in regards to the public benefit.
