Northern Ireland Linder charity nutnbei. NIC102270. The coimpany WAS incorporated oll 9 July 2012 and
its governing instriiinent is tlie Memoranduin and Articles of Association.
The gov¢i'ning body is the board of whose Ineinbers are also directors for th¢ pui-poses of coinpanies,

Hub, are listed on page l.

The Company's accounts have been pitsented this year in the format Set out as best practice by the
Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recominended Practice applicable to charities
accounts in the Ul< and R¢public of Ireland (FRS 102).
The Statement of Financial Activities ( SOFA") focuses on showing the total incorning resources which
have been made available to the company dui'ing the year and t])e way in which Ihose resources have
beeii used, whether as dii'ect chai'iÉabl¢ exp¢iiditure in carrying out and suppoiting the company'5 activities,

Responsibilities of the Bogl'd
The trustees al'¢ respoiisible for preparing the ti'uslees, report and tlie financial slatements in accordance
witli applicable law and United Kingdom Aceo(Jntiiig Standards (Unit¢d Kingdom Generally Accepted
Accounting Pi'actice).
Company law requii'es the charity triistees to prepare financial statements for each year which give a tru¢
and fail. view of the state of affairs of the chai'itable coTripany and t]ie incoining E'esoui-ces and application
of resolirces, including the income and expenditui'¢, for the peiiod.

The trustees are responsible for keeping adeqiiate 8ccounting records that are sufficient to sho1¥ and
explain the charitls transactions and disclose with i'easonable accuracy at any tiin¢ the financial position
of the charity and enable them to ensure that ihe financial statements coinply with the Companie5 Act 2006.
They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps
for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
Going concern and reserves poli¢y
The board consider that the company has adequate resources to continue in business for the foreseeable
futui'e, and that for this reason they should coniinue to adopt the going Concern basis in prepai'ing the
accouiils.

Risk Management
The Trustee Boai'd l)ave revieived the key risks facing the chartty and have established procedures
to Inanage those risks. A risk register is niainlatned and regularly reviewed.
Independent Ex2mÈners
A resolutLOll to re-appoint th¢ independent examiners, Roulston Jai'dine Chartered Accountallts,
will be proposed at tlie Annual General M¢eting.
Special provisions relating to small companies
These accouiits liave been prepared in accordance with the Special Provisions of part 15 of the
Conipanies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

Basis of accounting
The accounts have been prepared under th¢ historical cost conveiition and in accordance with "The
Financial Repoiting Standard applicable in the UK and Repiiblic of Ireland" FRS 102, the Accounting
and Reporting by Chaiitie5-. Siat¢inent of Recominended Practice applicable to charities accounts in
the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102), the Companies Act 2006 and the Charities Act (Northern
IIEland) 2008.

All incoining resoui'ces are recognised in the Statenient of Financial Activiiies when the conditioiis foi.

Funds
Moneyslane Rural Cominunity Hub has various types of funds for which it is responsible and
which requii'e separate disclosure. These are as followg..
restricted income funds-. income which is earmarked by the donor for specific purposes. Such
purposes are within the overall aim5 of the oi'ganisation. and
uTrrestricled funds- funds which are expendable at the discietion of the management board in
fuitherance of the objects of the organisation. In addition to expenditure on education or
services. such funds may be held in ol-der to finance capital investment and working capital.
Costs
Management and adininistration costs relat¢ to the costs off running the organisation such as the Costs
of meetings and accountancy and include aiiy costs which cannot be specifically identified to another
expenditure classification,
Depreciation
Depi'eciation is ralculated to wi'ite off the original cost less the estimated residual value of the fixed
assets on a sti'aight line basis over their expected usefiil lives, as follows..
