Row the Eme operates a'Recelpts and Payments. approach to accounting. It does not
have 8ny debts owing at 3111 December 2023. Its reserves are reflected in the closing

The Trustees state thatthey have regard to the Commlgsion's Public benefr(

Purpose
Rrrwthe Eme ￿he Clubl is a community-b85ed orgaDis8tions empowering people to
build and rowtrodition81 craft primarily on the Eme W8terway System in County
Fem)8nagh and throughoutthe island of Ireland too. The Club has the folLowing
purposes:
Purpose 1: To fosterand promote the rowingand sailing of traditional boats for all
3bilities. provide opportuntbes for recreation and leisure to members of the public who
may not. because oftheir social or economic circumstances, have access tothe

interests of so¢i8lwelfare for recreation and leisure purposes and to improve the
conditions of life of said persons by creating a natural and welcoming environment.

ofthe maritirne heritsge.

dependents by 8ssociatingwith relevant organisations and inhabitants in a

Purpose 1: Row the Eme brings people togetherfrom autypes of backgrounds and

Purpose l The Club has created opportunitles of Improv8d health outcomes and
reduced levels of stress and anxlety.

on soci81 Media to let others knowwh8twe were up to and to come along. The charity's
beneticiaries are people from allwalks of Life of all ages and abilities.

The Trustees worked alongside members and volunteers of Row the Erne in a ranoe of
8Cti¥rties. e￿￿ntS and initiatives that benefited the publi¢ in line with the Club's

B¢•at maintenance: Took Dlace when the currach wa$ off the water in FebruaTV and
ma￿￿.
118wlar short rows: Rowthe Eme ran reoular evening and weekend rows from April
through to early Novemberwhen the currach was lifted off the water for a winter
resL This benefftthe public under purposes 1 and 2. We introduced a whole new
group to rowingto improve their phvsicaland mentalwellbeing. to have fvn and to
make newfriends.
Ta•t•r ily￿. The Club ran a day oftaster r(yws as part ofthe Health Oceans Health
Minds initiatNe in August. This provided many people with the opportunity to get out
on the water and row a traditional craftforthe firsttime. This benefited the public
under purposes 1 and 2.
Long r(A¥s: We ran several longer rows to challenge the pubuc to push themselves.
increase theirlitne88 and invest more in developingtheir social connections. This
benefited the publrc under purposes 18nd 2. We ran these rows on weekends in
Sprin& Summer and ALrtumn.
Horllap fl￿. The club secured funding from Feman8gh and Omagh Dlstrict
Council to run an Ulster Scots project'Approaching pLan￿lOn Castles from the
water.. This gave peopio a unique perspective of thelf heritage on and off the water,
