TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT for Kinawley Community Partnership for the year ended 31$t March 2023 The trustees present their Trustees, Annual Report prepared in accordan with Charities SORP (effective January 2015) and the independently examined statements for the year ended 31st March 2023. Structure, Governance and Management Kinawley Communty Partnership is govemed by its Constitution that was adopted on 13th September 1995. The trustees at the date of this report and those who served during the financial year together with the dates of any changes are set out are listed below. Principal Address Kinawley Community Partnership, Unit 3, Kinawley Enterprise Park, Kinawley, County Fermanagh BT92 4FH Objectives and Activities Objectives The Objects of the Partnership shall be:_ To promote the benefit of the area of benefit without distinction of age, sex, ra, political, religious or other political opinion, by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort: a) to advance education; b) to maintain, improve or provide public amenities and the improvement of the physical environment to which the public have free access. c) to provide and assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants of the area of benefit; d) to promote all or any objects for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit which now or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable.
Key Activities in this Year Kinawley Community Partnership was established as a cross community partnership in 1995 to represent the interests of the inhabitants of Kinawley Village and surrounding district in rural County Fermanagh. The partnership applied for charitable tax status from HMRC in 2004 and when this was granted in 2005 we adopted an updated constitution in January 2005. Examples of Courses and activities that Kinawley Community Partnership have worked over the years to provide for the local community include" Yoga, Pilates, First Aid, Computer Training, Flower Arranging, Keep Fit, Basic Food Hygiene, Fly-tying, ESOL, Calligraphy, Painting, Information Talks. The Partnership have worked with Kinawley Enterprise Limited, Local Churches, Femianagh and Omagh District Council and grant making bodies to provide facilities for recreational activities, and make improvements to the physical infrastructure of Kinawley village and surrounding district including a Playpartf, Barbecue and Picnic Area, provision of Hanging Baskets and Flowerbeds and currently are engaged in proposals to develop a multi-use games area. The partnership provides and l or signposts to services and advi that may be of benefit to the local community such as farmers support, housing support, enterprise support and council support. Kinawley Community Partnership Trustees have considered Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's general guidan on public benefrt when reviewing our objectives and in planning our future activities to ensure that these achieve the association's purposes and provide a benefit to beneficiaries. Financial Review Review of Business Kinawley Community Partnership is non-profit making with net income and resources in this year of £199.04 The trustees continue to rnange reSoUrS in an efficient and sustainable manner. Reserves Policy Kinawley Community Partnership have a Reserves Policy, which requires that resereS are built or maintained at a level which ensures that the organisations core activities could continue during a period of unforeseen difficulty and that the organisations known liabilities will be paid should the organisation ase to trade. Future Plans Kinawley Community Partnership plan to continue to focus on controlling costs, while maintaining the high standards of Servi to our beneficiaries. STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES. RESPONSIBILITIES for the year ended 31st March 2023 The Trustees are responsible for preparing the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with all appropriate regulations. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. In so far as the trustees are aware: there is no relevant information (information needed by the charity's independent examiner in connection with preparing the independent examiners report) of which the charity's independent examiner is unaware, and the trustees have tsken all the steps that they ought to have tsken to make themselves aware of any relevant independent examiner information and to establish that the charty's independent examiner is aware of that information.
