Charity Accounts
From 1[st] January 2024 to 31[st] December 2024
The main achievement of the charity during 2024 was bringing to fruition the Heritage gallery at one entrance to Raceview Mill see https://raceviewmill.com/heritage-gallery with the help of Friends of Raceview Mill Community Fund.
On an ongoing basis, the Charity helped artists both by the trustees giving their time in an advisory role, in securing temporary working space for artists and helping artists with materials.
The money collected and spent was modest compared to the public benefit achieved.
With the support of the Charity, our chairman Roy McKeown was awarded 1[st] prize in the Ulster Architectural Heritage “Best Rescue of a Building or place in 2024“ for the work done in rescuing and restoring Raceview Mill.
