Purpose The purpose of the charity is to advance the Arts by enabling exhibitions of art, particularly by young artists, for the benefit of the general public. The charities beneficiaries are the general public ## Activities During the year the charity was able to help a number of young artists with materials and exhibit their work. The Charity completed planning & evaluation as to how it can meet its objective by securing premises at 6 Mill Road, Raceview Mill in February 2020 at £0 rent until December 2022. The Charity commenced work to fit out premises and transform it into gallery space which will be offered to local artists at minimal/zero cost. It is envisaged that the gallery area of Artworks NI will be open to the public daily to view the art on display by various local artists. The charitable purpose cannot be obtained without benefitting the artists involved and this benefit is necessary and incidental. No benefit was gained by any trustee. Financial position at year end. During January – December 2020 the Charity received DFE Coronavirus Grant Funding for Small Businesses (£10,000) The Charity spent approx £7560 on building materials and sub contractors to begin the fit out of 6 Mill Road Leaving a balance of approx £2724 in the bank.
