## Activities

**Purposes:** The object of the Charity is to advance the Roman Catholic faith in Northern Ireland and to that end –  (a)	To provide or assist in the provision of education of children and other persons attending in any school or education establishment in which religious instruction in the doctrine principles and precepts of the Roman Catholic faith is given.  (b)	To apply out of the capital and / or income of the Trust Fund such sums as the Trustees may from time to time think fit in the provision of educational benefits and facilities not already adequately funded by the Department of Education for Northern Ireland, any other government department and / or any other statutory body.  (c)	To assist children and other persons to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities by the provision of training, instruction, pastoral care and supervision and the provision of appropriate education and instructional (including sporting and leisure) facilities.  (d)	To assist in the training of members of the Congregation, teachers and other persons engaged or to be engaged in the provision of education, instruction and pastoral care to children and other persons.  (e)	To assist the members of the Congregation in meeting the expenses incurred in the performance of their duties and to provide for the reasonable needs of the members of the Congregation who have served the objects of the charity.  (f)	To advance the Roman Catholic faith in any part of the world.  (g)	To assist in the relief of poverty in Northern Ireland or in any part of the world.  (h)	To provide in Northern Ireland for the advancement of religion in a Christian context by promoting community peace projects and training courses designed to develop principles of community reconciliation and social justice and to assist in Northern Ireland, other bodies involved in charitable work having objects similar to or parts similar to those of the trust.  (i)	Generally to further the interests of Roman Catholic Education in Northern Ireland.    Provided always that at all times the Trustees shall carry out the aforesaid purposes and objects in a manner exclusively charitable within the law of Northern Ireland.
