## **CLADY CROSS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION TRUSTEE REPORT – 01.04.22 – 31.03.23** 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

The objects of the charity are to relieve poverty, sickness and the age and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Clady and Urney area of Co Tyrone and it’s environs.  To advance education, to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure with the aim to improve life for the said inhabitants. 

The main activities are to offer projects and programmes to the community.  Weekly classes are run in the community centre. Seasonal events are offered to bring the community together.  Clady CA community centre is offered to the community for private functions.  There is also training opportunities offered for the community to avail of. 

## **Achievements and Performance** 

Weekly classes - Irish dancing, karate, arts and crafts, crocheting and yoga. Easter activities: kids arts and crafts, egg hunt, estate walk with easter characters, Easter tea dance, Easter dinner dance. Summer activities: kids arts and crafts, 3 day summer fete. Halloween activities: pumpkin carving, spooky fun and games, Halloween party. Christmas activities: Dinner dance for approximately 140 people, Christmas lights switch on, estate drive through with santa, Christmas movie evening for children, carol singing and blessing of crib.
