BASIS for opinion We conducted our audit in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (UK) (ISAS (UK)) and applicable law. Our responsibilities under those standards are further described in the Auditors, responsibilities for the audit of the fmancial statements sectiorn of our report. We are independent of the charitable company in accordance with the ethical requirements that are relevant to our audit of th¢ fmancial statements in the UK, including the FRC'S Etbical Standard, and we have fulfIlled our other ethical responsibilities in accordance with these requirements. We believe that th¢ audit evÉd¢n¢e we have obtained is sufficient and appropriate to provide a basis for our opinion. Concluslons relating to going concern In auditing the fmancial statements, we have concluded that the trustees, use of the going ¢oncem basis of accounting in the preparation of the fmancial statements is appropriate. Based on the work we have perfomied, we have not identified any material uncertainties relating to events or conditions that, indivkdually or collectively, may cast signifi¢ant doubt on the ¢haritable company's ability to continue as a going coneern for a period of at least twelve months from when the fmancial statements are authorised for issue. Our responsibilities and the responsibilitie5 of the trustees with respect to going concern are described in the relevant sections of this report. Other information The trustees are responsible for the other inforniation. The other inforniation comprises the information included in the Annual R¢port, other than the fmancial statements and our Report of the IndepcndenÉ Auditors ther¢on. Our opinion on the fmancial statements does not cover the other infomation and, except to the extent otherwise explicitly stated in our report, we do not express any fonn of assurance conclusion thereon. In connection with our audit of the fmancial statemeuts, our responsibility is to read the other infornlation and, in doing so, consider whether the other infomiation is materially inconsistent with the fmancial statements or our knowledge obtained in the audit or otherwise appears to be materially misstatsd. If we identify such material inconsistencies or apparent material EniSSt&temenls, we are r¢quired to det¢miine whether this gives rise to a material misstatement in th¢ fmancial statements themselves, If, based on the work w¢ have perfornied, we conclude that there is a material misstatement of this other infonllation, we are required to report that fa¢t. We have nothing to report in this regard. Opinlons on other matters prescribed by the Companies Act 2006 In our opinion, based on the work undertaken in the course of the audit., the information given in the Trustees, Report for the financial year for which the fmancial statements are prepared is onsistent with the fmancial statements. and the Trustees, Report has been prepared in accorddnGe with applicable legal requirements.

We have nothing to report in respect of the following matters where the Companies Act 2006 requires US to report to you if, in our opinion: adequate accounttng records have not been kept or returns adequate for our audit have not been received from branches not visited by us. or the financial statements are not in agreement with thg a¢¢ounting records and rettjrns. or certain disclosures of trustees, remuneration specified by law are not made. or we have not received all the information and explanations we require for our audit. Responslbilities of trustees As explained more thlly in the Trustees, Responsibiliti¢s Statement, the trustecs (who are also the directors of the charitable Company for the puryoses of company law) are responsible for the preparation of the fmancial statements and for being satisfied that they giv¢ a true and fair view, and for such internal control as th¢ tr￿SteeS determine is necessary to enable the preparation of fmancial statements that are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error. In preparing the f]nancial Statements, the trnstees are responsible for assessing the rharitable company's ability to conlinue as a going concern, disclosing, as applicable, matters related to going concern and using the going concern basis of accounting unless the trnstees either intend to liquidate the Charitable company or to ¢ease operations, or have no realistic alternative but to do so.

Report of the Independent Auditors to the Trustees and Members of Springfield Charitable Association Limited Our responsibllltles for the audit of the financlal 5tateM¢nts Our objectives are to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the fmancial statement5 as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether du¢ to fraud or error, and to issue a Report of the Ind¢p¢ndent Auditors that includes our opinion. Reasonable assurance is a high level of assurance, but is not a guarantee that an audit conducted in accordance with ISAS (UK) will always detect a material misstatement when it exists. Misstatement5 Can arise from fraud or error and are considered material if, individually or in the Rggregate, they could reasonably be expected to influence the economic decisions of users taken on the basis of these fmancial statemenls. The extent to which our procedures are capable of detecting iLTegularities, including fraud is detailed below: Our approach to identifying and assessing the risks of material misslatement in respect of iffegularitie5, including fraud and non-compliance with laws and regulations, was as follows: the engagement partner ensured that the engagement team collectively had the appropriate competence, ¢apabilitie5 and skills to identify or recognise non-compliance with applicable Laws and regulations. owe identified the laws and regulations applicable to the charity through discLEssions with trustees and other management, and from our con)mercial knowledge and experience of the computer component manufacturing and supply sector. we focused on specific laws and regulations which we considered may have a direct rn&terial ¢ffect on the fman¢ial stst¢menls or the operations of th¢ charity, including the Charities Act (Northern ITeland) 2008, taxation legislation and data protection, anti-bribery, employment, environmental and health and safety legislation. we assessed the extent of compliance with the laws and ￿gUlationS identified above through making enquiries of management and inspectiog legal correspondence. and identified laws and regulations were communicated within the audit team regularty and the team remained alert to instances of non-compliance throughout the audit. We assessed the susceptibility of the charity's fmancial statements to material mxsstatemeTht, including obtaining an understanding of how fraud might occur, by: making enquiries of management as to where ihey considered there was susceptibility to fraud, their knowledge of actual, suspected and &ll¢ged fraud, and considering tTrLe internal controls in place to mitigate risks of fraud and non-complian¢e with laws and regulations. To address the risk of fraud through management bias and override of Controls, we.. perfomed analytical procedures to identify any unusual or unexpected relationships, tested journal entries to identify unusual transactions. assessed whether judgem¢nts and assumptions made in detemining the accounling estimates set out in the notes were indicativ¢ of potential bias. and investigated the Tationale behind significant or unusual transactions. In response to the risk of irregularities and non-compliance with laws and regulations, w¢ designed procedures which included, but were not limkted to.. a￿¢¢ing fman¢ial statement disclosures to underlying supporting do¢umentation' reading the minutes of meetings of those charged with governance. and enquiring of management as to actual and potential litigation and claim5. There are inherent limitations in our audit procedur¢s described above. The more removed that laws and regulations are from fllkanctal transa¢tions, the less likely il is that we would become aware of non-compliance. Auditing standards also limit the audit procedures required to identify non-compliance with Saws and regulations to enquiry of the dtrectors and other management and the Énspeclion of Tegulatory and legal correspondence, if any. Material misstatements that arise due to fraud can be haTd¢r to detect than those that arise froTn error as they may involve deliberate conceaknent or collusion. A fvrthei. descriptkon of our responsibilities for the audit of the fmancial statements is located on the Financial Reporting Council's website at www.frc.org.uk/auditorsre5pon5ibilities. This description forms part of our Report of the tndependent Auditors.
