**Purposes:** The Association is established to promote all or any purposes for the benefit of the community in the district of Springfield in the city of Belfast (hereinafter called ‘’the area of benefit’’) which now are or may hereafter be deemed by law to be charitable: and in particular to advance education, relieve poverty distress or sickness and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for health recreation and leisure-time occupation with the objective of improving conditions of life for the inhabitants of the said area.
