We work closely with social services, health visitors, community nurses, teachers and the citizens advice bureau to help those most in need. The Storehouse gather and distribute food stuffs, heating fuel, general household goods and items of personal hygiene. ## Objectives, Activities and Performance In setting our objectives and planning our activities for the year the trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission NI’s guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to achieve the charity’s purposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries. During the year we were able to provide food, food vouchers and other essentials to the most vulnerable in the community. The chairperson and trustees of Whitehead Storehouse woud like to thank those who kindly donate to the work of the charity and for those who give up their time to help this very rewarding and worthwhile work. ## Financial Review During the year we received donations totalling £1,537.98 this being our total receipts for the year. We made payments totalling £3,441.06. Itis my responsibility to: - © examine the accounts under section 65.of the Charities Act - e to follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Charity Commission under section 65 (9)(b) of the Charities Act - e state whether particular matters have come to my attention ## Basis of Independent Examiner’s statement | have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and an examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission NI under section 65 (9)(b) of the Charities Act. The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity anda comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning any such matters.
