ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
R8cov8rlng from the Pandemlc and the growkng challenges of th8 current economlc cllmale we conllnue wllh the
most extremely challenglng IlmeB we have ever seen for the Domiclliary Care sector. Communlly Care hours hpve
81eadled somewhat allhough generally. onty essenlSal domicillary Services are readily avallable. Thankfully wilh the
flnanclal help from the Departmenl of Health durlng the year. Crossroads shows a sleady recovery In Ihis flnanclal
year.
Our Young Carers pr¢le￿ has conllnued wlth steady progress dur5ng Ihe year wllh Qullngs and events now fully
restored after Ihe Pandemlc. We hav8 been exlremely happy ￿th the funding and spedfic granl ald recelved for the
Young Carers Project durlng the year.
The In Your Prlme project conllnues lo provide support through the prolect, allhough funding during Ihls year has
been down. The new year looks more promising with addilional advertisin9 for volunteers and active management In
place to bulld on our volunleer portlolio whlch In lurn will Increase Ihe help for vulnerable Isolated older people.
The Aclivlty 8nd Sensory Room projed has recovered significantly over the past year posl pandemlc. Imlh
Increased $eNlces due to funding, we have Introduced a Holiday Prolecl Scheme funded by the LFT Trust. We
conllnue lo actlvely seek to secure future fundlng for the Actlvily and Sensory Room to update equipment for the
Chlldren.

PRICING POLICY
Th8 cost for Domlclllary Care seNi¢e is decided by each Heafih Tru51. The Trusts set Ihe hourly rale Ihal Ihey wlll
pay for our servlce. There is no negollallon - they operate on a 'l8ke il or leave if pollcy. Crossroads are aware
through audllors how much an hour of cost and it Is seldom the eost per hour that the Trust offers.
The eare ratès offared by the Trust Board for the financial Ye￿ 2022-2033 was merely £0.8p per Ca￿ hour
Increasing by only 0.44Yo. and dlsappolntlngly no further Increase predicted for April 2023.
The Board are happy with the results for the year. We have undertaken a significant r6view of our income and
expendllure during the year. Thls process highltghled a number of areas where we have b8en able lo Implemenl cost
savlngs durlng tho year bul whlch wlll also generate lurther savlngs in Ihe coming year,
The charity returned n61 Incoming resources of £204,064 (2022- £102,632) of whlch these wer8 unre8trlcted nel
outgoing resources of £214,825.
