The Trusl is established for charitable purposes onty. specifically the advancement of Religion (specifically the
Evan98lical Christian Faithl, the advancement of education and the advancement of community development.
Such purposes musl be carried out exdusivety in a manner that is beneficial to the public and is recognised by the
law of Northern Ireland as being charitable.

Revlew of Actlvltles, Achlevements and Performance
Summary of Activltles
Church Communlty
The primary galhering point for our church community is a Sunday morning with around 700 adults gathering across
2 services. A key element of creab'ry space for our thur¢h family is between these services ¢)ver tea, coffae and
snacks.
We conts'nue lo gather on the first Sunday evening of each month for our 'Seek Firsy worship space and meet b
wegkly for prayer on a Wednesday night. Orb these nwJhts wg join OUT Portadown Church.
We have continued in our primary calling of disCip￿ShIp. while continuing lo dedicate bab￿5. baptise believers, marry
and bury people. Endeavouring lo do all of these in a ¢onlext of love, dignity and family.
We Continually endeavour to engage with our W￿er community demonstraling the love of God in words and actions.
Al both Easter and November half lem break we bless the local community with grfts around doors and have
organised community events such as firework displays and community fvn days.
Llfe groups
With the larger numters of people gathering on Sundays, Lite groups are a key way for us to be able to connect in
smaller numbers and allow people lo buikl intenbonal relationships. An African proverb says. 'If you want lo go fast,

Around a third of our church members are engaged with life group, with a hope of seeing this increase in the future.
Pastoral Care
As a church, we desire lo have a robust pastoral care system, which ensures that people are cared for thoroughly.
We have a staff member lo coordinate and oversee these processes specifically, while our pa51ors and volunteer
pastoral care team Outs¥0￿ everything on the ground. Life groups Imenlioned in the section above) provide a primary
form of pastoral care. with group leaders able lo feedback infomiation to church leadership, of issues of difficull+es
which ari$en in the live$ of those connected lo their groups.

Klds
All Sunday Khls environments have been burstiry with energy this year as we seek to love and inspire the next
generation. Environments are provided for k￿S aged from 15 months lo P7, that include stories from the Bible.
worship, memory verses. games. crafts. prayer slalions. as well as free & sensory play for our youngest Kingdomers.
We started a new environment for Nursery & P1 bringing us lo a lolal of 5 age speerfic environments for Kids on
Sunday momings. Kids Ministry themes over the past year have included Women of the Bible. The God Story and
fun 'lNSIDE OUT, themed 8 week programme over summer. There is an average of 160 kids coming through the
programmes each Sunday moming.
Klds Drop In
Junior Drop In is an environment provided for children in P4-P7 after school mKI-week. 11 has the purpose lo have
food. fun, for the kid5 to make friends trom other schools, lo get support with theif homework with the help of our
volunteers. This environment is a150 ulilised as an a¢ces5 point for k￿S lo welcomed into church as for many of
these children, rt is their first contael point with Emmanuel. From this environment, many of our kid$ start attending
our Friday night and Sunday environments. We have behveen 12-1 S who attend weekly from a range of different
schools.
Tlny Tots
Tiny Tols is an environment that provides a place for parents and carers lo bring their children, from the age of O
pre-school, It continues lo grow with new faMil￿S attending each week. There is an average attendance of 30 adults
& 4S kids. with the majority of parenlslearérs attending Tiny Tots only having a conne¢lion lo Emmanuel Chur¢h
through this ministry. We continue to see an increase of people from many different nabonalities. Thi$ is only possible
because of the strong dedicated volunteer team which has really grown this season.
Quest & Impact
Quest and Impact is an environment that is provided for children in P1 P7 which njns every Friday night. Quest is
for children in P1-P3 and Impa¢l 1$ for P4-P7. The purpose of our Friday nights is to provide a slrucluT8d pro9ramme
with a more casual approach after the kids finish 8 full week of school. Here, the kid5 Igam morg about the Bible in a
fun and interactive way., and enjoy playing with their friends in a safe environment. This year we have gone through
thè Irf9 51origs of Moses and Joshua as well as Kings & Queens of the Bible and Children of the bible. With 80
children allending ea¢h week It 1$ easy to say, FrKlay nights are the highlryhls of the week for many chiltjren &
loaders alike. We are so thankful for the ded￿ted laam of 15 ￿aderS who weekty give up their Friday nights to pour
into our kid5.
Local Schools
11 has been wonderful lo work ¢lo$ety with some of our local schools throughout the year taking assemblies in Kings
Park, Carrick, Dickson and Moira Primary sehoo15. We have had an excellent opportunity lo partner with Aspire &
Reach, which has given us extra lime in our schedules to give hours towards Carrick on a weekly basi$. We had an
excellent lime hostsng the Transition Week for P7's with our local primary sch¢)oL8 in June.

Lifegroups
O u r P 6 & P 7 Lrfegroup is an e n v i r o n m e n I which involves.. conne¢ting with peers, playing games, praying for
each other, and reading the Bible together. We have generated an average attendancE of 45 kids bi-weekly which
creates a posits've atmosphere of healthy learning and development within our khls who are seeking it. We had a
sleepover in church with this environment for the purpose of providing the kids with preparation before going on our
yearly rgsidenlial as many of them havg never stsyed overn￿ht away from home Wore.

Our heart is very much for family. In 2024, 15 babies were born into our church family and New Baby Hampers wer8
delIve￿d to these familie$. 13 babie$ were dedicated into the ¢hur¢h family. We have loved our quarterly Saturday
mornings with young family stsy & play called 'Mini Moming. it has been a great opportunities for paTents and carers
lo connect. Equally so has our Fostering & Adoption Support Group which meets every other month.

Kids Week- We had our annual Kids AclFvity W in August where 100 chiklren took part in either a sports or arts
program. as well a5 engaging in Bible lessons. On the Thursday night of thi5 week. we hosted a family night for the
children that were involved in the Activity week.
Summer Actlvlty Days- Over summer we hosted 11 activity day$ lo allow kids to gather, buikl relationships and
have fun.
Home For Good Summlt- We had the privilege of provlding the kids programme for P1-7 al the annual Home for
Good Summit.

clubs in May. A Holiday Bible Club in Juty and a Chrisbm8s Paty in De￿Mber.
Youth
Frlday nSght youth
This year we combined Vrtal and Collective youth environments to create one Emmanuel Youth discipleship
environment on Fnday nights for young people aged 11-18. This has been a very successful transition. We have
wilngssed salvations, baptisms and youThJ peop￿ growing deeper in their faith and bearing much fruit. We have
¢realed space for young people to lead from prea¢hing. hosting and leading worship whi¢h has been key Sn
devel¢ping young leaders within our church.

the most powerful prayer Ministry limes with
young people that we've ever had.
FUSE Youth
Over the past year we have witnessed the growth of our FUSE detached Youth WO￿ programmo largely du6 to tha
recruilmenl of Maty Timlin as our OU￿ard focused Youth Pastor. Since this recruitment, FUSE has grown from an
average of 1()-15 young people lo an average of 35 young Feople per week.
Klngdom Youth
With changes lo Vital and Collective environments on Friday evenings. we also introduced King¢Jom Youth on
Sunday mofnings for ages 11-14. This program aligns with the church's leaching sanès but is tailored fol youth.
Around 40 young people participate each week over two serwces. We also ran a successful youth course for year
IOS tr8nsilioning into ¢hur¢h. lsd by Robb￿ and Pastor Phil. It laughl the importance of church and Efflmanugl's core
values and beliefs.
Banqu•t 1$ for young people ¢Jeepening thoir faith and committing lo G¢xl. 11 focuses on leaching them to road tha
Bible and listen lo the Holy Spirit. In 2024125, 10 young people attended Banquet bi-weekly on Sunday nights.
Youth Alpha C¢)urs•
Through our relationships with lo¢al s¢hool$, we havg b•en presented with the wonderful opportunity lo run th8 Youth
Aipha course in several schools. This year alone. we have conducted the course for 21 classes al Craigavon Senior
High. 10 Ihird-year classes al LJHS. and during lunch limes al Lurgan College. In total, approximately 650 pupils from
Lurgan, Cr8igavon, and Portadown participated In the program.
Al the conclusion of each series of classes, we hosted Alpha round-up sessions where students gathered for pyzza,
listened lo a gospel message. and were given the opportunity lo receive prayers. Numerous seeds of faith were
planted. many young people were prayed for, and notably, one 16-yearthold boy committed his life to Jesus.
Additionally. we distributed numerous Bib￿5 to shjdents who requested them. The participating schools have
recognized the benefits of the wur5e and have expressed their desire for us to continue offering it annually. Due to
the success of the Youth Alpha course, other schools are now reaching out lo inMte u$ to implement the program In
their schools, p￿Senting us with further opportunities to expand our outreach.
1 WAY EVENT In October and November 2024. we partnered with Crown Jesus Ministries and local church85 to
host a city-widè youth outreach al South Lakes Leisure Centre. The inilialive included three weeks of school
outreach, the main event, and follow-up actwities. About 1400 young people attended, with 334 responding to the

groups, praying, reading scripture and keeping each other accountable in theii faith is really significant and an
Important part of Ihelr discipbship.
Prayer and Pancakes

In 2024125 we had 132 different young people attend our Junior and Senior Drop Ins with an average of 40 per week.
Signal Flres
Signal Fires is an initiative where we gather young individuals to pray, worship, and seek God together for a renewed
movement of Hi$ Spirit in our land. These events ate designed lo equip young people lo pray and encourage them lo
live mis5ton-foeused lives. thus preparing the ground for renewal and awakening.
In September, we collaborated with the Tobar Conference lo host a Synal Fires event. This event saw the highest
number of partiopaling churches and locations a(xoss Ireland. with an attendan￿ of 250 ind¢vMluals. Notably, five
young people dedicated their lives to Jesus during this gathering.

We have established a core team that has diligently worked to create a dists'nct identity for Signal Fires, clanfying its
objectives and what il can offer to churches nationwide. This core team now meets monthly to pray and plan. whith
has provided Signal Fifes with much-needed structure and direth'on.
Looking ahead, we have scheduled four events in Derry. Cork. Dublin. and Beffasl over the next 12 months.
Summer Activitias
In Juty and August 2024 we had 2CN) young people engaging in our
summer pm9ramme.
MOVE
We brought 35 young people lo the CIY Move summer camp in Co.
Kildare. It was an incredible time for our young people where many
of them had deep encounters with God, were discipled in small
groups and made lots of new friends with other young Christians
from around Ireland.
NUA We facilitated the youth programme at the NUA Festival
with Lagan Valley Vineyard Chufch. 11 was a remarkable
weekend whfjrg many young peoplg experienc￿ freedom aTrJ
healing in worship. Over the past tsvo years,
NUA has signilicanlly impacted our youth, inspiring many to
passionaloly pursue Jesus.
Glo
In 2024 we ran Summer Glo. Thi$ 1$ an event
where the youth group$ from the local ¢hur¢he$
come together to pray, worship, and seNe the
people of Luryan together. We do things like
gardening, community clean ups and area fun
days. It's great lo watch young people ftom
different churches work together to serve and
glorify God.
Volunteers
We have established and developed healthy teams with approximately 60 volunteers serving cross all of Our youth
environments. Rebekah Baker also started her intemship with us in September 2024 and she has been a great
addition lo our team. We have walchgd her grow in confKlence, leadorship and aulhoThty and has become a capable
leader that we can entrust with responsibility. The development of the Intem Programrne will bè a key priority in
2025.

Conne¢t Café
Connect Café has contlnued lo flourish as a welcomlng and
inclusive space with up to 60 individuals regularly attending on
Wednesday morning5 for coffee. conversation and connection.
For many attende&$, thi$ remains a critical part of their weekly
routine which combats loneliness and provides a measure of
stiucturfr to the week.
During the winter months. we expanded our outreach by
providing hot meals monthly following the café112..0(￿1'.00 p.m.I
serving be￿een 40 10 50 indivKluals per session. These
gatherings offered not onty food but also wamth and
companionship.
Staff from our local Jobs and Benefits Offi￿ now visit Connect
regularty to support cli8nls with understanding changes lo
Univetsal Credit and help them Complete forms and paperwork.
Although a recent addiknon, this support has already made a big
difference. breaking down barriers and helping people gel the
outcome5 they need.

where 120 members of the community came together lo enjoy a
traditional festive meal. followed by games and entertainment. A
joyful event that brought a strong sense of celebration and
togethemess.

Throughout the summer we organised day lrips lo Newcastle. Bangor. and Portrush. These outings are particularty
meaningful for many parts"cipants offering rare opportunibes lo travel beyond the local area, enjoy nature, ar￿ share a
picnic together.
Dropln Cafes
Our Monday evening (open lo all) and Thursday moming (Men'5 Drop-lnl cafés have remained vibrant and well-
attended. Co1￿Ctive4y, these sessions welcome approximalety 70 partiapants weekly. offering food, so¢ial interaction
and activities such as pool competitions and games. These gatherings have played a key TO￿ in f05tering friendships
and bLtilding communty with many describing them as a weekty highlwJhL
R•néw
Renew supported 377 individuals this year through appoinbnenls provKling clothing and essential items. In addition,
we held targeted inilialives induding a Wnler Coat Drive, Chrisimas Pyjama Appeal and our annual Unifo
Exchange which Invo￿ srx local schools and redislribuled over 201K) i18ms of clothing.
Renew continues lo build strong links with Pantry members. allowing us to add￿$$ pracli¢al needs, particulady
evident during the winter months. when the coat appeal helped ease financtal pressures for families with growing
Children.
Foodbank
In partnership with our local Trussell Foodbank. we issued 61 vouchers during 2024. supporting approximately 200
IndividL¢a15 in immediate crisis. This relationshp remains a wtal part of our compassion response lo urgent need.
Freedom Foods Pantry
Freedom Foods Pantry plays a key rol8 in our long-term. holistic approach lo food insecurity. In 2024 we welcomed
110 new members and recorded 1034 pantry wsits.
A 8ignificanl development this year was receiwng the Social SuFeffnarkel and Wraparound Services Grant in
November 2024. This funding enabled us to enhance oui food provision. expand svpport serwces and improve
outreach. We developed promotsonal videos and multilingual flyers lo better 8xplain tha social sup8miarkel modal
and preserve members. dignity and understanding, raising awareness and increasing accessibility lo the service.
We also launched the Health for Life Programme in Collaboration wrth health visitors, the Soulhem Health & So¢lal
Care Trust and other professionals. This four-week series addressed topics such as physical health, oral hygiene.
first aid, mental well-being, nutrition and chikl safety, recemng overwhelmingly positive feedback from parb'cipants.
Engllsh Lesson$
Our English18nguage classes have continued lo thrive with over 91 students enrolled across three levels. This
programme is Supportgd by a dgdicaled leam of volunlgers and currgnmy represents leamers from 17 countries from
Ukraine lo Afghanistan. It ¢onlinue$ lo be a key initialNe helping indivK1ual$ integrate and thrive within our local
community.

Christmas Support Program
Al Christrnas, we delivered 120 festive hampèrs lo our Pantry memb8r5 and provide(I gifts for 15 childron. In addition,
through our Christmas Savings Scheme, parents saved for 22 ehildren, an empowering ini1181ive that enabled families
to purchase their own gffts. It was inspiring to see Iha pride and independ8nc£ this brought to those involved and w8
look forward lo growing this scheme in fvjlure years.
Once again, local businesses and schools partnefed with us ty collectlng food donatlons and making financial
contributions. We were also able lo provide gift bags for young adults al Bocombra Res￿entIal Home and deliver
Christma$ prosonls to 128 child￿fi ¢onne¢t8d with the Ical Charity Aspirg.
A true highlight of the season was our visits lo Belvedere and Aughnacloy House residential care homes, where we
spent a fun afternoon singing carols and sharing festive food with Tesidents, a meaningful b'me of connection and
eelebralion

We warè honour8d lo welcome Her Royal Highn0￿ Tho Duthess of Glouceslor in Septembgr 2024. r&¢ognising the
positive impact of our wot1( within the community. The wsit was a Memorab￿ o¢ca$ion that left a la$ting impression
on our team, volunteers and those we serve.

Governance
Our Board of Directors have mel regularfy and have undertaken a full programme of board slr8t8gic and governance
activity throughout the year. All company d1￿ctOrS have confirmed their willingness and eli9ibility lo act as a Director
and have deCla￿d that they do not have any conflict of intèr8sI in doing so. Conflicts of Inlergsl during board
meetings are managed as per our agreed policy. There are no related parties or $ignifi¢anl interest to be noted. Apart
from the lead Pastor, Directors ate unpaid and are not remunerated for their truslaeship.
New Directors are recruited as per the Memorandum and Artiths of As$o¢iab'on. During tho year, the Board was
slrenglhened by 3 new members. This helps to diversify board membership and ensures a broad range of skills and
experienc8 81 Board lev•l. A r8vigw of the Articles of Association has occurred during the year which amended the
charitable objects lo better describe the ¢harilable work of Emannuel Lurgan Church Trust and lo improve the
governance arrangements of the Company. As we look ahead to nexi year, and the conlinued development of clo88
partnership working with Emmanuel Church Portadown IECF Trust), the Board of Directors will conduct a due
dlligence ￿vIeW regarding merging the 2 ¢haritsbk trusts so that govemance arrangements better reflect the one
vision, Tnission and operats'ons of the churches across the City of Craigavon.
Flnan¢lal Rgvlew
The Trustees are very satisfied wth this $el of financial ￿SUIts. The lovel of increasing income from our congregation
in support of our mission contsnues lo surpnse and provid6 U5 with reassurance as to what we are doing. Wa
continue lo focus on our aims and objectives and concentrate our expenditure on those areas that will enhants and
meet our objectives both in the short arKI medium term Our net surplus of £51k belore depreciation underlines the
controls and govemance in place within our ehureh. None of this woukj be possible wilhoul the countless volunteers
that give freely of both their time and their prayers and we ao Iruly grateful and indebted lo all of those people for all
