The trustees present their report and the fmancial statements for the year ended 30 September 2024. The trustees who
served during the year and up to the date of this report are set out on page l.
Structure9 governance and management
The company is ¢onstitued by it's Memorandum and Articles of Association. and limited by Guarantee, having no Share
Capital. Only persons who subscribe to the objects expressed in the Memorandum of Association of the Cornp&ny, and
are appointed by the Executive Committee, or the company in a General Meeting can be admitted as Trustees.
SKS
Th¢ Executive Committee has conducted its own review of the major risks to which the company is exposed, and
systems have been established to mitigate those risks. In order to minimize internal risks, and to ensure the consistent
quality of delivery for all operational aspects of the company procedures for authorization of all transactions. and
projects have been implemented.
Objecllves and activities
The Charity's objects ("Objects") are specifically restricted to the following:{l) To proclaim the Christian message by
promoting the personal,spirifual,family.physical and fmancial wellbeing of people of all ages in Northern Ireland and
abroad, by ther privision of any suppiort the officers may detern]ine. whether by supportlng the effectiveness and
efficiency of charities and the voluntary sector or providing such support directly.
Achievements and perforniance
During the year ended 30 September 2024 the propety owned by the charitsble company was used under lease
agreement by another charity by the name of Drop Inn Ministries. Drop Inn Ministries made donations for the upkeep
and rLU]ning costs of the propety in accordance with the le&se agreemenL
Financlal review
The results of the company for the year are detailed on pages 5 to I l.
Plans for future periods
We prdy for the continued support of all, who in the past have donated their money and time to this company.
Funds held as custodian trustee on behalf of others
No funds are held as Custodian on behalf of others.
Statement as to disclosure of inforni2tion to Independent Examiner
In so far as the trustees are aware:
there is no relevant accounts inforniation of which the charitable company's independent examiner ts unaware. and
the trnstees have taken all steps that they ought to have taken to make themselves aware of any relevant accounts
infonnation and to establish that the independent examiner is aware of that inforn]ation.

Statement of trustees, responsibilities
The trustees (who are also directors of Ballyards Charitable Trust for the PUTpose of company law) are responsible for
prepaTing the Tn￿tees, Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United
Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practtce.
Company law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view
of the state of affairs of the charitable company and of the incoming resources and application of resources, including the
income and expenditure, of the charitable company for that period. In preparing these financial statements, the trustees
are required to:
select 5Uitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently"
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP.
make judgements and estimafrs that are reasonable and prudent:
state whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followe￿ subject to any material departures disclosed
and explained in the fmancial statements. and
prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis Unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will
continue in operation.
The trnstees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any tim¢
the financial position of the charity and which enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the
Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking
r¢&sonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other i￿egularlties.
Small company provisions
This report h&s been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small Companies,
regime.

I report on the accounts of Ballyards Charitable TnLSt for the year ended 30 September 2024 set out on pages 2 to 10.
Respective responsÉbilities of trustees and independent eLqminer
As the charity trustees (and also the directors of the company for the purposes of company law) you are responsible for
the prepardtion of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006. Having sattsfied myself
that the charity is not subject to audit under company law. and Ès eligible for independent examination, it is my
responsibility to..
l) examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
2) follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland
under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities Act
3) state whether particular matters have come to my attention
Basis of independent examiner's statement
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried
out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section
65(9)0)) of the Charities Act. The examination included a review of the accountino records kept by the cbarity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or
disclosures in the accounts and seeking explanations from you as charity tsv5tees concerning such matters.
My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe:
a) that accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 386 of the Companies Act 2006.
b) that the accounts do not accord with those accounting records
c) that the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of section 396 of the Companies Act 2006 and with
the methods and principles of the Charities Statement of Reconllnended Practice applicable to charities prepating their
accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
d) that there is fi]rther inforniation needed for a proper undeTStandino of the accounts to be reached

Accounting policies
The principal accounting policies are summarised below. The accounting policies have been applied consistently
throughout the year and the preceding year.
1.1. Basis of accounting
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Accountinty and ReportTng by Charities:
Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Standard Applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January
2015F (Charities SORP (FRS 102), the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland (FRS 102) and the Companies Act 2006.
Ballyards Charitable Trust meets the definition of a public benefit entity under FRSI 02. Assets and Liabilities
are initially recognised at historical cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated in the relevant accounting
1.2. Cashflow
The chwity has taken advantage of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland IFRS102)(effective l January 2015) - (Charities SORP (FRSI 02)), from the requirement to
produce a cash flow statement on the grounds that it is a small charitable charity.
1.3. Fllnd accountillg
General funds are utwestricted funds which are available for use at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of
the general objectives of the charity and which have not been designated for other purposes.
1.4. Incoming resources
All incoming resources are included in the statement of financial activities when the charity is entitled to the
income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. The following specific policies are applied to
particular categories of income:
Voluntary income is received by way of grants, donations and gifts and is included in full in the statement of
financial activities when receivable. Grants where entitlement is not conditional on the delivery of a specifi
performance by the charity. are r¢¢ognis¢d when the charity becomes unconditionally entitled to the grant.
Donated services and facilities are included at the value to the ¢l)arity where this can be quantified. The value of
services provided by volunteers has not been included.
Gifts donated for resale are included as incoming resources within activities for generating fijnds when they are
sold.
Grants, including grants for the purchase of fixed assets, are recognised in filll in the statement of financial
activities in the year in which they are receivable.
Resourees expended
Expenditure is recognised on an ac¢rual basis as a liability is incurred. Expenditure includes any VAT which
cannot be fully recovered, and is reported &s part of the expenditure to which it relates.
Charitable expenditure comprises those Costs inCu￿ed by the charity in the delivery of its activities and services
for its beneficiaries. It includes both costs that can be allocated directly to such activities and those costs of an
indirect nature necessary to support them.

1.6. Tangible r￿ed assets and depreciation
The cost of fixed assets is their purchase cosL together with any incidental costs of acquisition. Depreciation is
provided at rates calculated to write off the c05t less residual value of each asset over its expected use￿1 life, as
follows:
