Capital. Only persons who SUb￿ribe to the obj¢¢ls expressed in the Memorandum of Association of the Comp8ny, and
are appointsd by the Executive Committee, or the company in a General Meeting can be admitted as T￿￿tees.
RISKS
Th¢ Executive Cornmittee has condu¢ted its own review of the major risks to which th¢ company is exposed, and
systems have been established to mitigate those risks. lry order to minitllize int¢rnaS risks, and to ensure the ¢onsistent
quality of delivery for all operational aspects of the company procedures for authorization of all transactions. and
projects have been implemented.

Ballyards Charitable Trnst W85 established to proclaim the Good news of the Kingdom of God and the name of Je$u5
Christ foT ihe provision of people's spiritual. emotional and physical needs. Thig will be done by: l) Advancing the
Chrsstian religion in whatever way possible. 2) Prornoting personal health and well-being for all. 3) Providing Pastoral
care and counsellinig services to individuals and faTnili¢s ID need of emotional and spiritual supporL 4) Protnoting th¢
role of marriage and family life in society. 5) Working for the alleviation of povety ID all its fornL8 whether that is
physical, emtstional, social or spiti￿al p)verty. 6) Campaigning against inju*i¢e. 7) Supporting Prnctically and
finaneially, organisations and individuals who have the above objectives.
Acbievernents and performallee
During the year ettded 30 Septernber 2021 the property owned by the charitable Company was used uDder lease
a￿t¢￿ent by another charity by the name of Drop Inn Ministries. Drop Inn Ministries made donation5 for the upkeep
and running costs of the prop¢rty itL accordanc¢ with the lease agreemenL

The tnjsiees (who are also directors of Ballyards Charitable Tnjst for the purpose of ¢05npauy law) are responsible for
preparing the Tn15tee$' Armual Report aDd the f]DaTLcial statements in accordance with applicable law and United
Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice.
Company law requires the tr￿$tee$ to prepare fjnancial statrments br each fjnan¢ial year which give a tNe and fair view
of the state of affairs of the charitable eompany 2nd of the incoming resource5 and application of resources, including the
ineome and expendifftjre, of the charitable company for that period. tn preparing these fInan¢ial 5tat¢Jnents, the trustees
are required to:

The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time
the fllkancial position of the charity and whith enable thern to ¢nsure that the financial statements comply with the
Companie5 Act 2006. They are also responsible for sateguarding the assets of the charity and hon¢¢ for taking
T¢￿onable steps for the pr¢v¢ntion and detection of fraud alld olher irregulariti¢s.

I hav¢ examined your Charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Aet and my examination was cattied
out in accordanc¢ with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under Section
65(9)(b) of the Charities Act. The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
eomparison of the accounts presented with those record5. It also included considerdtion of any uttu$ual item5 or
disc105ures in th¢ aw)unts and seeking explanations from you as charity trustees concerning sueh matters.

The principal accountitig policies are sumnwised below. The accounting policies have been applied consistenl]y

1.1. Basis of acwuntlng
The fujancial ststem¢nts have been prepared in accordance with Accounting and Reporting by Chariti￿.
Statement of Re¢ommended Practice applicable EO ¢harities preparing th¢ir accounts in accordance with the
Financial Reporttng Sthndard Applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January
2015)- (Charities SORP (FRS 102), the Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the UK aDd Republic of
treland (FRS 102) and the Compani¢s Act 2006.
Ballyard5 Ch￿ilable Trust meets the definition of a public benefrt entity under FRS102. Assets and Liabilities
are iniÉially recognised at historical cost or transaction Value unless otherwise stated in the releyant accounting
ia. Cashflow
The ch￿lty has taken advantsge of the ex¢mption in Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland (FRS102)(eff¢ctive l January 2015) - (Charities SORP (FRS102)). from the requirement to
PToduce a cash flow statem¢nt on the ￿OUndS that 1¢ is a small charitsble charity.
1.3. Fund 4ccountiug
General ￿ndS are unrestrict¢d fun(Ls which are available for use at the discretion of the trnsttts in fitrth¢Tance of
the general objectives of the charity and which have not b¢en desI￿ated for other puTros¢s.
1.4. Ineoming resomrces
All incoming resources are included in the statement of flljancial activities when the charity is entitled to the
incon)e and the amount can be quantified wth reasonable accurdcy. The followtng specific policies are applied to
particular categoTies of income:
Voluntary income is received by way of grants. donations and gifts aDd is included in full in the ststement of
f]nallcial activities when receivable. Grants where entill¢ment is llot conditional on the delivery of a specifi¢
perfonnance by the charity, are recognised when the charity becomes unconditionally entitled to the grant.
Donated Services and facilities are included at the value to the charity where this can be quantified. The value of
services provided by volunteers has not been included.
Gifts donaied for resale are included a5 incoming resource5 within aetivitie5 for generating fimdg when they are
sold.
Grant4 including grants for the purchase of f]xed assets, are recognised in full in the ststement of fjnancial
activities in th¢ year in which they are receivable.
1.5. Resourees expended
Expenditure is recogni5ed on an ac£n￿l basis as a liability is incurred. Expeuditure in¢lud¢5 any VAT which
¢annot be fully recovered, and is report¢d as part of the expenditure to which it relates.
Charitable expenditure comprises those costs ittcllrred by the Charity in the delivery of ils activities and services
for it5 benefieiaries. It includes both costs that can be allo¢ated directly to such activities and those costs of an
indirect nattwe necessary to support them.
