LURGAN JUNIOR GATEWAY

CHARITY NUMBER NIC102067

TRUSTEES REPORT FOR ACCOUNTING PERIOD 1 AUGUST 2016 TO 31 JULY 2017

The Lurgan Junior Gateway club provides social opportunities for children with special needs. The aim of the club is to provide a weekly opportunity for children to come together in a social setting.

We also encourage the members siblings to take part in the club as well which helps every child interact with each other and promote Diversity and Equality.

We are completely voluntary and rely on weekly membership payment of £2 per family and donations from local businesses.

The club activities include arts and crafts, Table top activities, computing and we run activity programs where outside agencies come to interact with the children.

We hope to extend the range of activities over the next few months.

The club is open to all children with special needs up until the age of 18.

During the period to 31[st] July 2017 we have continued to work to develop and expand our charitable objectives and support our beneficiaries, parents, children and funders in line with our charity registration.
