The Trust is governed by the Trust Deed and is registered with The Charity Commission for Northern Ireland sinre I I
December 2015. All trustees give their time freely and no remunernlion or other benefits are received.

In deciding upon and planning our activities for the year, the Trustees have given careful consideralion to the Charity
Commission for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefil lo ensure thai the aciivities have helped to achieve our Charity's
purposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiarie5.
The direct benefits which flow from the purpose include..
Improved emotional wellbeing of members who attend

People with visual impairment being able to participate in a range of activities which lake place at the Group
Meet people with same type of disability who can support each oiher
By being involved in local issues within the area which may affeci people with disabilities eg. Access. consultation5 by other
Organisalions.
Objectives and Activities
The Orchard Club provides a social ouilei for people with a visual impaiment many of whom do nol attend other Groups.

Basis of Independent ¢xamin¢r's $tatement
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried
out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b)
of the Charities Act.
My examinalion included a review of ihe accounting records kepi by the charity and a comparison of the accounts
presented with those records. It also included con5iderdtion of any unusual iiems or dtsclosures in the accounts, and
seeking explanations from you as Charity Irustees concerning any such mdtters.
My role is lo state whether any material matters have come lo my attention giving m¢ ¢aus¢ to believe:
That accounting records were not kepi in accordance with seclion 63 of the Charities Act.
That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records.
That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requiremenis of the Charities Act.
4. That there is further inforniation needed for a proper understhnding of the accounts to be reached.

I have completed my examinaiion and have no concerns in respecl of the matlers ( l ) to (4) listed above and. in connection
with follow'ing the Directions of the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland, I have found no matters thai require drawing
