**Purposes:** The Group is established to advance education, relieve poverty and promote the preservation and protection of health and welfare among older people, aged 50 and over, of Crumlin and its environs (hereinafter called ‘the area of benefit’) and in particular to: a)	provide facilities, in the interest of social welfare, for recreation and other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for older people in the area of benefit; b)	raise awareness among the general public of the experiences and needs of older people in the area of benefit;
