The Association is for the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for the practice of amateur boxing within the Ligoniel area and its environs of North Belfast without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort and in particular to maintain and manage or co-operate with any local authority in the maintenance of a centre or centres in the area of Ligoniel for activities promoted by the Club
