Years. the Chlldren's Organisalion. The Piaygroup is 8Lso registered by the Education
Authority, Soulhem Region as a PEAGS Piaygroup.
Throughout theye8rthe Trustegs have gN8n careful consideration to the Charity
Commission for Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit to ensure thatth8 activities
have helped to achieve the charity's purposes and provided a benefit to the benefici8ri8S.
The charity Is established to promote play based leaming environments for all children
under statutory school age in the area of Mayobridge end its surroundlng environs in
County Down without distinction of age, gender, marltal staius. disability, sexual
orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, ty associating the
ststutory auihorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitant5 in a
common effort to advance educalion. and in particular: a} to advance the education of the
beneficiaries by the provision of safe and satisfying group play, with the right of
parentslcarers to take responsibilityfor and to become involved in the activities ot the
group; and to promote the preservation of health of the beneficiaries; and bl to support the
values and principles of Eartyyears.
