The Carnmoney Primary School Parent Teacher Association is governed in accordance with its
Constttution which was last approved at the AGM of the Association.
Trusteesl officer Bearers are selected by person5 in attendance at Annual General Meetings in
accordance with rules as set out in the Constitution
Purpose
Purpose I
To advance education.
Purpose 2
Improved relationships between home and school. The benefit which flows from thi5 purpose
includes funding for additional resources for the school and links built with the local community.
This is demonstrated through having an active PTA that work5 in partnership with the school and
engages parental support. This purpose does not lead to harm. The benefit Is for children at
Carnmoney Primary school. Charity trustees (PTA committee members) are usually also parents
at the school which their children attend and hence gain beneflt In the same way as all other
beneficiaries. Thi5 benefit is incidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to all
beneficiaries.

Advancing the education of pupils in the school. The ￿nefit which flows from thls purpose
includes increased educational progress and attainment of pupils in the school and links built
with the local community. Thls Is demonstrated through pupils having access to resources, events,
activities and links Wlth the local community which are not available through direct school funding.
This purpose does not lead to harm. The benef¢t is for children at Carnmoney Primary school.
Charity trustees (PTA committee members) are usually also parents at the school which their
children attend and hence gain benefit in the same way as all other beneficiaries. This benefit
is intidental and necessary to ensure the benefit is provided to 311 beneficiaries.

Maln Achievements durlng the yearto July 2025
The PFSA continued to actively support the work of the school. There was a significant financial
contribution made towards the development of resource libraries for key areas on our school
development plan, including maths resources, STEAM resources, music resoijrces and a significant
investment in further outdoor learning resources 8nd equipment. The PF5A also purchased a large
shipping coniainer for the storing of school and PFSA resources.
Plans for future periods
The future plans forthe PFSA are to continue to raise money for digital technology including IPads and
interactive white boards as well 35 to develop the school for accessibility reasons. Thls may include
the purchase of additional outdoor, play and accessible sports equipment to ensure learning can be
accessed by pupils with all different needs and abilitie5
Adherence to Charities Commission Nl Statutory Guidance
In the conduct of activilie5, the Association have regard for the public benefit requirements as
set out in the Charities Commission Statutory guidance.
Annual Accounts and Flnancial Review
The Association has chosen to present annual accounts In Receipts and Payment Format as
permitted by Charities Commission regulations.
A draft Set of accounts were presented to the committee before being submitted to professional
account5 for review.
The Accounts demonstrate the funds of the Association to be sufficiently in surplus to allow for
the activities of the Association to contlnue without disruption.
At the end of the financial year the total assets less liabilities of the Association stood at £6,036,
up from £4,791 at the start of year.

I report on the accounts of the charity for the year ended 31 July 2025 which are set out on pages 6
to8.
RESPECTIVE RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRusfEES AND EXAMINER
The trustees are responsible for the preparatlon of the accounts. The charity'5 trustees consider that
an audit is not required for this year under section 65111 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008
and that an independent examlnation is needed.
Having satisfied myself that the charity is not subject to audlt under charity law, and is eligible for
independent examination, it is my responsibility to:

lill follow the procedures laid down in the Beneral Directions given by the Charity Commission for
Northern Ireland under section 6519llbl of the Charities Act,.

BASIS OF INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
My examination was carried out In accordance wlth the Eeneral Directions given by the Charitv
Commis5iOt). An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It a150 includes consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees
concerning 3ny such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would
be required in an a￿dit and consequently no opinion is given as lo whether the accounts present
'true and fair view, and the report Is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my
examination was Carried out in accordance with the general Directions Eiven by the Charity
Comrnis5ion for Northern Ireland under section 651911bl of the Charlties Act. The examination
included a revlew of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts

Related Party Transactions
The charlty was under the control of the board of trustees through out the year. The charity
Trustees were not paid or received any benefits from employment with the charity in the year,
neither were they reimbursed expense5 during the year.
During the period the Carnmoney Primary School Parent Teacher Association did not enter into
any transactions with related parties.
