Set out below are the principal accounting policies which have been adopted in the compilation of the
Receipts and Payments Account and the Statement of Assets and Liabilities.
Rocelpts and Payments Account
All items of oncome and expenditure included in the Receipts and Payments Account have been
accounted for on a cash receipt basis.
ststement of A880ts and Llabllities
{8) Assets retained for the Parish's own use
The assets of the Parish, retained for its own use comprise of four church buildings and the
graveyard. The church buildings and graveyard are deemed to be Heritage assets as defined by
the Charities SORP (FRS 102). These heritage assets are not included in the statement of assets
and liabilities as info￿natIon on the cost or valuation is not available and such infomation cannot
be obtained as a cost commensurate with the benefrt to the users of the accounts and the parish.
(b) Investments
Fixed asset investments comprising investments in RCBICIT Unit Trusts are initially recorded at
cost and then subsequently stated at fair value at each yearend date.

6 Transactions with Trustees
One of the trustees, the minister of the church. Reverend P Barton received a stipend of £11613.
No other trustees re￿iVed any remuneration or reimbursement of expenses during the year.
