Apart from specific Members Meetings. our activities are open io the public. Conducting public meetings for bible leaching, prayer, praise and the worship of God. The public benefit includes opportunity for spiritual experience and groivth in the Christian faith helping folk overcome fears and anxieties, receive and give supporl in life's Challenges, helping the ill and giving general support. In additioii, meetings give a sense of belonging and forniing friendships, deinonsirated by members, and visilors active participalion in Sunday services. prayer and other events. Feedback shows the outworking of faith through volunthry work. support for the ill and a scnse of belonging. We do nol think that hami comes lo the public from these a¢tivities. The benefits arc for church members and io visitors who atlend our events. A private benefit ¢ould be that Individuals are supported and helped. Building up, siipponing and assisiing esiablished Chrisiian churches in the area of Lisburn and elscwhcre by Ivhatever means possible. This purpose benefits the wider church and the general PLkblic. In relation lo privaie benefit. participants have opportunity lo work and serve in teams. Raising up a body of people who will live out Iheir lives in a way that will bring gvlory lo God. People benefit by becorlling beller citizcns more aware of the needs of others, demonstrable by members involvement in charitable work. ineludirkg overseas. We encourage service in the local community and beyond. We cannot see how this putpose woiild be hamfiil. -rh¢ b¢nefit is for members of the local church. the wider church and those served by us. A privatc benefit could be the development of members, lifelinterpersonal skills. Sending persons out lo establish or assist oiher works in other places. both in this courktry and elsewhere as the Occasion arises. Thcre is benefit in the fulfilmenl of callings for individuals who engage in this work, demonstratLd by positive feedback from missionaries and our partners. In addition local members have found an outlet for service and support. There could be possible etTects of travel or exposure lo disease. This primarily benefits those who have gone oul from our church and those they work with. The developinent of life skills could be a private benefit. Servingy the people of Lisburn and elsewhere in order to meet iheir spiritual and tempordl needs to the glory of God. The local and widcr community benefit from the advice. hclp. practical support and care offered through oiir chiirch. This provides a social and spiritual outlei for church members to express their faith aiid Cliristian values. Continuitkg high allendance numbers ai activities. and good feedback, is evidence that Ihc stated benefit is being realised. We do not think there is any hann from this purpose and il is of benefit to members of the public who wish to lake adv8nthge of our activities. We hold regulai Sunday moming meetings for worship, Bible study and prayer. including Kids church and
Youth church. We have regular prayer events. small groups for fellowship and prayer, regular praise eveiits
and a mission prayer meeting..
We hold a weekly children's 'Popcorn' evcnt. For youth there is a 'Connect" youth club plus a youth cell and
for adults, a men's 'Band of Brothcrs" group and ladies Thrive, aciiviiy. We also encourage attendance at
our adult small groups.
Locally. in Lisbum we are active members of the Lisburn City Centre Churches. who meet for fellowship
and prayer and lo organise inter-church activiti¢s. We give financial and prdclical support lo the inler-cl)urch
CAP eenlre in Lisburn which provides help to those in debi. Furthennore, we partner with other churehes in
their public outreach and in inier-church prayer projects. We have a link with the 14111 Sire¢l Residents Group
and with them have organised a number of events for the folk who live in Hill Street estate.
We havc a commitment to mission and support through prayer, communication, giving and visiting. Wc
suppori a Christian ¢¢ntre in Co. Mayo- a church in Serbia,. an outreach in Gran Canaria and a member who
is currently part of an outreach in the Pa¢ific Islands. We are currently actively developing links with
workers in East Afri¢a. W¢ also have contact with Chrisiians in Nigeria and have a partnership with a chiirch
in Willesden Green, London.

Considcring the variable in¢oin¢ and fixed commilmenls, Ihe review concluded Ihal 10 allow ihe charity to be managed effectii'ely and to provide a buffer for allowing uninlemipied services. a genernl reserve equating to approximately ihree months of unreslricled fund expenditure should be maintained. Church loan The church is paying off a loan of £40k over 5 years from November 2015. The b&lance al 31 March 2018 was £6.679. Other finAncial details The chur¢h's principal source of funds is by donaiion from ihe church membership through Sunday offerings, standing orders, and special appeals for building and repair funds, missions etc. Expenditure supporis ihe key objectives of Ihe charity by employing a church leader lo provide spiriiual leadership and pasioral support, by maintaining a building for the purposes of public meetings, providing Iinancial support for the delivery of servic¢s provided for members and for p¢ople in Lisburn and elsewhere and providing regular financial support for pcrsons sent oul lo establish or assisl other works in other places, both in thi$ Country and further afi¢ld.
