Trustees and committee members are elected at our annual AGM: The committee supports the leader wlth the dally running of the setting. fundra isin& recruitin& child protection, inspections and any other issues if they arise. The trustees are also responsible for ensuring that policies. procedures and legal requirements are adhered by. They ensure that the charity's member5 understand the purposes set out within the constitution. The Committee plans for what the playgroup wants to do and how they will achieve it. They understand how the playgroup benefits the public by carrying out it5 purpose. The playgroup continues to grow each year. There 15 a high demand for its service in the area. Mallusk is continuing to grow with many new

developments going up. The demand for places continue5 each year, the play£roup often has a waitin8 list. We WOTk in close contact with our partnering school- Mallusk Integrated primary school with the biggest majority of our children feeding into it. Achlevements and erformartce Thi5 year we had 22 funded Pre-school places, and 6 Pre-pre School plates. Our recent social services inspection highlighted the high quality of care that the children were receiving. Our child ren continue to develop well with lots of positive feedback from parent/carer5. The staff have very good relationships with the children and parenvcarers. The parentlcarers are very supportive In helplng the playgroup with fundraising. Our children are able to transition into primary school more confident and happler in thelr next stsge of learnihg. The play8rovp never has to advertF5e and See families continuing to return each year. The playgroup is often recommended by past and present parent/carers. We have a low staff turn around and are proud to say we have a fantastic team. The p13ygroup received a grant from Childcare partnership. This grant Wa5 for outdoor5 and enabled us to paint and tidy up our outdoor spaee. We received Engase fundin8 from the Education Authority to purchase new learnlng resources for the children after Covid 19. We also be8an a new home school learning called- The Bi8 Bedtime Read. We were allocated funding to set this up. The funding enabled us to purcha￿ story sacks, book5J prop5 and storage. The children now all receives story sacks regularly to encourage reading at home, We carried out the following fundraislng this year wlth the support of our committee/stsff/parentlcarers; Non uniform days-Totsl - £154.60 Christma5 ballot- Total - £247.00 Movie night5 - Total - £272.50

Without the fundraislng.thls would not have been possible. The playgroup is thankful for the support they receive from parenvcarers and the committee, who work extremely hard each year to ensure the playgroup can functlon properly.
