FRIENDS OF GROSVENOR

TREASURERS REPORT NOVEMBER 2023

This is my second year fulfilling the role of Treasurer for Friends of Grosvenor.

We began the 22/23 Financial year with a credit balance of £20,253.64 (end Oct 2022).

INCOME

Saturday mornings at the Shed started in November 2022 and ran until March 2023. The Shed was opened on 7 mornings in the 22/23 school year. The Shed re‐opened in September 2023 and was open for 7 mornings throughout September and October 2023. The total takings from the Shed up until end of October 2023 was £1,168.21.

Three second‐hand uniform sales were held throughout the year in December 2022, February 2023 and June 2023. The total of sales for the year was £3,651.86.

Non uniform days were held at the end of each of the three terms. An extra non uniform day was also held this year on 17th March 2023. The total collected was £2,310.

FOG provided tea/ coffee and a tuck shop at the Drama Nights and Spring Concert for the first time in a few years. The takings from the Drama Nights was £649 and the takings from the Spring Concert was £218.65.

The F.O.G. Greenway walk took place again in June 2023. The total of the sponsor money received from the pupils was £6,115. F.O.G ran a tuck shop which had takings of £529.64.

Our total income for the 22/23 financial year was £14,818.32.

EXPENDITURE

A donation of £15,000 was given to the school at the AGM in November 2022.

Bank fees charged by the A.I.B for the year were £156.78.

The annual subscription to Parentkind was renewed for £140.

Auditing of the 22/21 Financial Year accounts cost £90.

Purchase of pitch side supplies amounted to £102.90.

FOG supplied and served tea/coffee at the GGS Open Nights at a cost of £84.68.

Drama Nights expenses amounted to £270.77.

Spring Concert expenses amounted to £27.

Rails were purchased for the uniform sales at a cost of £174.96.

Supplies for the FOG walk tuck shop were £320.71.

Our total expenses for the 22/23 financial year were £16,367.80.
