NIMFA Vision Statement is:

help Muslim families celebrate their identity and integrate wifh the society in
which we liv8.
Ob'ectives
1. To promole the spiritual, social, educational. recreational, psychological
and physical well-being of all members of the family.
2. To help these families preserve their Islamic Klentrties, and integrate in the
communty of Northem Ireland as Northem Irish Muslims.
3. To complement the work of other local and national organisations
supporting local Muslim familiès.
4 To organise and facilitate voluntary community work.

On behaff of the Executrve Committee of NIMFA, I would like to vftlcome

Chairman's Report
As the Chaiman of Northem Ireland Muslim Family Association INIMFA) l am
pleased to present our Annu81 General rneeting report for the year 2023.
Looking back on 2023 and reflecting on all the developmentsl activities
including a serps of tefvrt>ishment works. meetings. social gatherings and
netrNorking. l tske this as an opportunty lo thank you all and Ask Allah lo
reward and support US 811. Tr past lew years have been a very S￿nIfICant
Stage in NIMFA'S development, with the help of Altah.
l am date￿nined to ensur8 that l and the Management Committee continue to
make extremeky positNe contributions to meeting the needs of our community
induding education, personal development. Islamic Culture, Integration and
otganvzational development. l arn partiwlarty happy with the refurtjishment
works of our building and the Iremendous efforts of those who have worked
tireless￿ towards having a dean. safe and inviting cenlre with facilities that
are in accordance to Islamic teachings. We are happy to see that our
community are enjoying and appfecialing the new improved space, with
improved disabilty accth and thal NIMFA now has ownership of the building
at 7 Rugby Road.

The Management Committee, volunteers and wmmunity are extremely
commendable and a strength to the Muslim community here in Nl. NIMFA
continues to be blessed to have the support of the community through Friday
donations and a dedicated volunteer team to allow NIMFA to achieve our
Strategic Goals and secure future stabilty.
l am confrdent in the cornmitment of the Management Committee. volunteers
and comrnunty contribution to help us continue to provide a place of worship
and service for Ihe Muslim communty. We are delighted to now be in a
position of ownership of the buikling and thal the 8Xtension and refurbishment
work has been so successful to date.

We are dedicated to our re￿nt strategic plan's implernentation over the next
five years and the vision that it ascribes to. NIMFA has successfully secured
premises to continue with the work we do and provide a place for our ever
growing community and is committed to this endeavor. NIMFA continues to
establish a political line. core voluntary staffing structure to work towards
supporting the needs of the community. As a support to our community our

next priority goal 8t NIMFA 1$ lo replace our previous Sheik Mohammed with
an in house Imam and caretaker.
NIMFA management committee has sought parental feedback for the
development of the Hikmah School and curriculum with the support of the
dedicated leacher5 and Br Samir to ensure that all of the children have the
opportunity to learn Quranic and Islamic study.

Concluding remarks
In conclusion. I would like to acknowledge members of the Management
Committaè for all their hard work, commitsnent and dedication over the past
years to make NIMFA a valuable communty resource. I would like to thank
the wider communty for their owoin9 SUPPOrt of the project. I would like to
thank all of those whom have contribuled to NIMFA. I must say that without
their financial and practical support we would not be able to continue th8 work
and Services, thank you.
