The Provincial Grand Lodge of Londonderry and Donegal Masonic Welfare Fund, constituted by a
declaration of Trust made the 17th day of June 2004 and varied on the 14ih day of December 201 I, accepted
as a charity by HM Rcvcnue & Customs und¢r rcference number XR80514 and rcgistercd with the Charity
Commission for Northern Ireland on 26th May 2015 under charity number NIC I O I907
The charity's purposes are,
l. To relicvc in cases of need, har¢Lghip or distress FreemiLsons and the widows and other
dependents of deceased Freemasons principally within the Masonic Province of Londonderry and
Donegal.
2. To provide financial assistance to other duly constituted Masonic Charities.
3. To provide financial assistance to any person or body for any charitable purpose as defined in
&rticle 2 of The Chtwities Act tNorthern Ireland 2008].
The Trustces have had regard to the Public benefit guidance issued by the Charity Commission for
Northern Ireland.

During the year ended 31 si December 2022 the charity has conducted the following activities in furtherance
of its activitics for the public benefit.
l. Awarded seven grants to brethren and the families of brethren to assist with various ill health,
disability and financial needs.
2. Awarded four hundred and thirty six small grants to widows of deceased brethren to help widi
Christmas expenses.
3. Madc donations to the following local charity, St Vincent De Paul, The Salvation Amiy, and the
NI Children to Lapland Trust.
4. M(ide don&ltions to two other Masonic Charities.
The results of the charity's activities during the year and of its Posltion at the year-end are included in the
Receipts and payments account on page 6 and the Statement of assets and liabilities on page 7. The trustees
are thankful for the support of the brcthrcn fomiing The Provincial Grand Lodgc of Londonderry and
Donegal and their guests, through their continue donations ( during a difficult three years )which are used to
further the charity's purposc8, which have been dctailcd abovc. We hope th¢it with the cnding of the
COVID-19 restrictions and our meetings recommencing, our donations will recover to pre COVID levels.
