## Activities

**Purposes:** (4)	(a) The company’s objects are specifically restricted to the promotion of dance, arts and culture, in particular the promotion of the art form of dance and its related subjects, in Northern Ireland and the City of Belfast area (“hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) and in particular but not exclusively;  (i) to advance the art form of dance and its related subjects through the provision of training, dance studio facilities, careers advice, coaching  and continuing professional development for dance practitioners and organisations in necessitous circumstances upon terms appropriate to their means and in such other ways as the directors shall in their absolute discretion determine;  (ii) to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of voluntary and community sector dance organisations and independent dance practitioners by the provision and management for such organisations and practitioners of dance studio facilities, office accommodation, conference facilities and the provision of training, skills development, information, resources, advice and other relevant services and/or support;  (iii) to encourage appreciation for and participation in the art of dance in all its aspects through the provision of affordable facilities, resources, training and such other services necessary for the creation, production, performance and appreciation of the art form of dance; and  (b) To advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the directors may from time to time decide in accordance with the law of charity in Northern Ireland.
