Empowering Disciples, Transforming Communities
contributed by Rev Alusine Massaquoi—Country Director
From the inception of the ministry, our guiding principle has been to set a benchmark of excellence. Through unwavering commitment, we've achieved remarkable success in our church planting and discipleship campaigns. While diligently strengthening existing churches, we've also conducted a series of impactful seminars and outreaches. The outcome has been the cultivation of a thriving community where disciples are not only raised but also mentored to unleash their God-given potential.
Our approach has proven to be highly successful, with disciples being provided valuable opportunities to exercise and develop their unique gifts. This empowerment has resulted in the establishment of vibrant house churches led by these dedicated disciples, and the outcomes are nothing short of extraordinary.
These house churches are not just meeting spaces; they are vibrant hubs of spiritual growth, community engagement, and outreach. The success of these endeavours is a testament to the

effectiveness of our discipleship programs and the commitment of our ministry to fostering leadership and individual empowerment.
As we reflect on the journey so far, we are grateful for the transformative impact we've had on both individuals and communities. The ripple effect of our discipleship initiatives extends far beyond the initial planting of churches – it reaches into the lives of those who have become leaders and contributors to the spiritual fabric of their communities.
This success story is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our ministry, the dedication of our disciples, and the support of our partners. As we look forward, we remain steadfast in our commitment to nurturing leaders, planting churches, and making a lasting impact on the spiritual landscape of the communities we serve. Your continued support is pivotal in ensuring that we can extend this legacy of positive transformation and empowerment. Together, let's continue to build a community where disciples thrive and spread the light of faith and love.
Harvesting Hope: A Year of Collaborative Growth and Kingdom Expansion
Building and extending the Kingdom is a collaborative effort, and our commitment to effective partnerships remains at the core of our mission.
To achieve our ambitious visions and goals, we actively collaborate with like-minded churches and ministries in the crucial work of church planting and disciple-raising.
Throughout the year, we conducted impactful seminars and discipleship sessions, culminating in significant baptismal events.
Our collaborative efforts have resulted in the establishment of over fifty churches and ministries with whom we proudly partner. Our role extends beyond mere collaboration; it involves equipping these entities with the necessary tools for successful church planting and providing training to empower their pastors and leaders to actively engage in the process.
This year, we celebrated the successful planting of ten churches through our collaborative efforts, witnessing the baptism of 450 individuals. Moreover, we have successfully trained and deployed 100 church planters, contributing to a total of 400 church planters actively engaged in the field.
Traditionally, at the close of each year, we bring together all our esteemed partners, pastors, and church planters for a moment of refreshment, evaluation, and assessment of the year's work. Unfortunately, due to political instability in the country, we were unable to host this gathering in December. Typically attended by over 600 pastors and church planters, this event serves as a powerful testament to the impactful movement of God in our collective endeavours.
Despite the challenges, we continue to be grateful for the remarkable progress and the transformative work taking place.

This institution stands as a beacon of hope and transformation for street girls and vulnerable young people, a testament to the incredible impact of our vocational school. We deeply appreciate and value the fact that our vocational school has not only trained hundreds of girls but continues to empower them to realize their God-given destinies. The unwavering commitment of David and Barbara, and our dedicated donors is instrumental in keeping this dream and vision alive.
The vocational school has become a catalyst for positive change, with numerous street girls experiencing profound transformations and emerging as valuable contributors to their families and society at large. This success story embodies the core mission of Fresh Hope – to imbue the lives of these girls with meaning and seamlessly integrate them into society.
It is with heartfelt gratitude that we acknowledge the significant role our supporters play in this journey of empowerment. Thanks to their generosity and dedication, the vocational school has ascended to become one of the leading institutes in the city. Simultaneously, it continues to serve its primary purpose of transforming the lives of street girls, leading them to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
The vocational school is not merely an educational institution; it is a vital force for societal change, reaching out to the most vulnerable and providing them with the skills, knowledge, and spiritual guidance needed to break the cycle of poverty and despair. As we showcase the tangible impact through stories of transformation, we invite you to be a continued pillar of support for this crucial project.
Your support is not just an investment in education; it is an investment in the future of these girls, offering them a pathway to self-sufficiency, dignity, and a life of purpose. As we look ahead, we remain steadfast in our commitment to reaching out to more street girls, giving them the tools they need to build a brighter future. Together, let us continue to be champions of positive change and empowerment for these resilient young women.

Sowing Seeds of Transformation: The Ongoing Impact of Our Pig Farm Initiatives
Our pig farm continues to be a source of tremendous effectiveness in our mission. However, we've taken a strategic step to send the pigs to our community church planting sites, fostering continuity and realizing our dreams. These swine ambassadors have evolved into powerful access ministries, creating pathways for community engagement and transformation.
In the past year alone, the deployment of our pigs to various church planting sites has yielded remarkable results, resulting in the establishment of over six new churches. This achievement represents the fulfilment of a dream that continues to unfold, as we leverage the unique capabilities of our pig farm to not only sustain the initiative but also catalyse positive change in communities.
These pigs, once mere livestock, now play a pivotal role in our broader strategy of church planting. Beyond their traditional role, they have become symbols of growth, resilience, and community support. By integrating them into church planting initiatives, we not only contribute to spiritual development but also provide communities with a sustainable means to raise funds for their ongoing needs.
The success of this initiative underscores the importance of creative and sustainable approaches to community outreach. Through the ongoing support of our pig farm, we are not only fulfilling immediate needs but also fostering long-term, transformative change in the communities we serve. As we look ahead, we remain committed to exploring innovative avenues for impact, ensuring that our initiatives continue to be effective tools for positive change and community empowerment.
