Jackie Doogan and Valerie Kernaghan Our aim: Promotion of community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for the benef its of the general public for the playing of sports designed to promote health and f itness in Derrygonnelly and to provide facilities for the advancement of the social, cultural, and recreational activities. with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants (as per our constitution dated 1st February 2004). This year was the aftermath of Covid19 pandemic and promoting the availability of the community to the public for all activities. The main highlight for 2022 was the successful FEARmanagh Event which was organised and managed by Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. It was great to see so many different activities back like Futsal, Irish Dancing. Micky Dolan's classes, Harps Cycle, Fitness classes. birthday parties and the annual switching on of the Christmas lights Event. And it was great to be able to have the facility of offering Funeral teas for bereaved families. Funds held have decreased by £1,356.28 to £18.471.93 between the 1st February 2022 and the 31st January 2023 Accounts: Derrygonnelly Credit Union £8,879.88 AIB (Nf) £8,462.38 Petty cash held £1,129.67 Total £18,471.93 We are registered with the Charity Commission NI and adhere to and have regard to it's public benefit requirement, which we meet through our provision of facilities for the advancement of health and social interaction which are utilised b many groups an individuals within our community.
