Structures Govemance and Mana
ement
The Plurn Club, based at I la Main Street, Plumbridge, is registered with the
Charity Commission NI under the number 101871. It is governed by its
constitution. In the financial year no new Trustees were appointed, and none
resigned. The committee was approved by the AGM and continues to monitor its
membership. The Management Committee which administers the Plum Club
meets throughout the year as required.
Public Benefit
In relation to all of the NAMED ACTIVITIES AND PURPOSES OF The Plum
Club, the direct benefits HAVE INCLUDED THE FoLLOW￿G.
To relieve poverty and to promote the benefit preservation and protection of
health among older people and those in need in Plumbridge and its environs.
This reporting period, The Plum Club had another very busy year with a wide
range of classes and workshops consisting of cookery demonstrations, card
making, glass painting, ceramics, window box planting, and a felting project. We
also had 2 trips to Omagh as well as our annual trip to Portstewart, finishing off
the year with a Christmas meal out in Gortin.
Financial Review
The Plum Club received funding from Derry City and Strabane District Council,
and SSE Airtricity and Bogside and Brandywell Healthy Families.
We appreciate all the help our volunteer drivers and helpers provide, we would
not be able to provide this vital service without them, and we thank them.
I would also like to thank my fellow committee members for their continued
support throughout the year.
