**Purposes:** The Association is established to relieve poverty and to promote the benefit preservation and protection of health among older people and those in need in Plumbridge and its environs of County Tyrone (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) who are in need as a result of their age, infirmity, disability or social and economic circumstances and in particular: (a) to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, education or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for older people; (b) to raise awareness among the general public of the needs and experiences of older people in the area of benefit.
