The Inain priorities of the oroanisation are to empower local people. raise awareness. promote new opportunitieg and give the community a collective bC from which to proactively address their concems. It is mainly but not exclusively aimed at the over 50's in our community. Management Committee The members of the Charity for the purpose5 of charity law and throughout this report are collectively referred to as the members. The Club also provides activities that bring agencie5 in to provide inforniation on subjects Such as benefits, debL cooking on a budget, dealing with bereavemenl managing finances. The club also rnises funds for local charitable purpose5. The advancemcnt of education is supported by activities organised by Rath Mor 50+ Club. The club re.(Fularly orCranis talks and visits by a range of educatsonal speakers on historical / heiitage I cultural and other subjects. These talks and visit5 engage people in group activity and enable isolated people to interact with others while leaming about V8rious subjects. Rath Mor 50+ also provides IcarnÉng / education and training opportunities in areas such as bSe IT, First Asd, and inter-cultUra learning and community relations. Many of tlies¢ activities are open to the wider public. The advancement of health or the saving of lives is supported by a range of activity. Rath Mor 50+ regularly bring health professionals in to talk to participants or to talk about speoific issues. For example the club works with a local chemist lo learn about the dangers of having or using old medicines and the Club also has a specikl box for the return of unused or unwanted medicine5 so the9e ¢2n be prop¢rly destroyed. There are tslks and training on depression and dealing with beTeavemeJJt I cancer / other life thre&tening illnesses etc. The club provide5 first aid training and some members have compl¢ted defibrillator training. A buddy service operates an)ongst participants and we signpost people to other specialised services and provide sUPPOrt for those rIth cancer or other life threatening illnesses. The club fundraise for cause5 such as the local Hospic¢ I Can¢er charities I Chest Heart and Stroke and Foyle Search and Rescue eie. These activities are both for members but also for the wider good. Our ndraIsing brings us into contact with everyone in the wider community and encourages greater interaction between younger peopl¢, older peoplc ad society general while also helpkng good causes. Risk Management The members have assessed the majoT risks to which the organisation is exposed, in particular those related to the opcrations ad finances of the &s50ciation, and *re satL5fied that systems are in place to nJitigate the exposur¢ to the major risks. FillaD¢ial review The financial perf0rn18nce is summarised in the enclosed accounts. Plans for Future Periods The organisation plan5 to continue the activities as outlined above in the forthcoming years subject to satisfactory funding a)Tangements. The organisation has accumulated reserves of £14,408, however these monies ar¢ designated to future expenditure. Page I

The members are responsible for maintaining proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enables them to ensure that the financial ststements cotnply with the necessary, legislation.The members are a150 responsible for safeguardinu the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other ]ecUlarIties.
