Communiry Resources {BSCR}, set agai[￿t a continued backdrop of txonomic pressure and ￿0Wing demand
within our community.
Sandy Row remairts an area ex￿rien¢Ing high levels of depriV￿lOn, with many individuals and families
imtHcted by the ongoing cost-of-living crisi& limited employment optM)rtunilies, and ￿[SIstent inequalities.
In this contexL the need for accessible. community-luj support h&8 ncver been greaier.
Over the PLSI year. BSCR has continued to restm)￿l proa¢lively lo challenges. We have sustained and
expanded our ¢ore programmes a¢ross education. youth supp)rC digital skill& community safety, and
wellbein& In particular. th¢ successful completion and operdiional launch of the Ans and Digital Hub
repr¢sents a major milestone in the regeneration of the are4 providing a highquality, shared space for
learnin& creaiivity, 0￿d community engagement.

The Charity's poli¢y is to retain a level of fire reserves which rn￿Ches the needs of the OTganization. IM)th at
Ihe current lime and in the foreseeable future. The reserves required should sufficient to meet committed
grdnt expcnditure and the running c05ts for a ￿n[x1 equivalent 10 twelve months annual expenditure. The

Belfast South Community Resou￿¢5 is constituled as a company limiled by guaranlee incorporated in
Northem Ireland (N1053950). ln the event of the chariry being would up, the liability in respect of th¢
guarantee is limited to £1 per member of the charity.
The charity constitutes a publi¢ ￿nefit entity as defined by FRS 102. The financial stalements have
been prepared in accordance with Accounting and R¢porting by Charities: Statemeni of
Re¢ommended Practice applicable io chariiies preparing their accounts in a¢¢ordan¢e with the
Finan¢ia] Reporting Standard applicable in ihe UK omd Republic of Ireland (FRS 102), the Financial
Reponing Siandard applicable in the Uniied Kingdom and Republic of Ireland {FRS 102), the
Charities Act {Northem Ir¢land) 2013: the Cornpanies Aci 201kn and UK Generally Accepted Prdctice
