The company Is a registered charity and hence the report and results are presented in a lomi whlch complles wilh
the requlrements of the Charities Act (Northem Ireland) 2008 and, although not obliged to comply ￿th the Slalemenl
of Recommended Practice {Charilies SORP effective January 2015). the organisallon has Implemented its
recommendations where relevant in these financial slatemenls.
Revlew of Actlvltles, Achlevements and Performanc8
St Oliver Plunkett Youth Club is the only full-lime youth club wilhln a s-mile radius ol a largely rural area. It Is
great asset to Ihe region and is used by young people from as far as Dundalk and Mullaghbawn. Sl Oliver Plunkelt
Youth Club is based on the principal of social and personal development of young people. During the past year
many programmes have been run with informal education al the fore such as the Duke of Edinburgh award, Fitsl aid
training. Child protection training, and Bushcraft training. Sl Oliver Plunkett Youlh Club also run gymnasllcs. dance,
football, table tennis, badminton, pool, art & crafts, hobby groups. cooking, trips and event organising. 11 Is a
vibrant and outgoing centre with plenty lo offer and Is open 8 days a week.
Results and Dlvldend¥
At the end of the financial year Ihe ￿fflpanY has net assets 01 £196.864 {2022 £208.8901. The net assels of Ihe
company have decreased by £ <12,116>.
In accordance wlth Ihe Articles of Associatlon, Ihe directors r81ire by rotation and being eligible, offer themselves lor
revele¢tion.
