## **Bronte PTA Annual Report 2024/2025**

Bronte PTA have had a very busy year and are delighted to have recruited a few new members. PTA have contributed to the life of the school in the following ways: 

**Book Fair** 09/25 – PTA helped operate book fair ‘shop’. 

**25[th] Anniversary Celebration/Christmas Fair** 05/12 – PTA organised and ran a fantastic event to celebrate 25 years of Bronte Primary School.  The event was a huge success and was enjoyed by the whole school community.  While it was primarily a social event, it raised a terrific £1,240. 

**Christmas lunch** – crackers for children and staff were provided by PTA. 

**Christmas concert** – volunteers served shortbread and mulled punch. PTA provided juice for punch and sweets for parents. 

**Break the Rules** 28/3/25 - £5/child or £10/family Amount raised: £740 

**VE Day Celebration** 8/5/25 – PTA received £400 funding for this event, which was used for bouncy castles and food preparation costs.  PTA members also helped with the event organising and serving food. 

**Sponsored Fitness Day** 13/6/25 - sponsorship form and online payment options. Amount raised: £2,150 

**Preloved uniform sale** – this ran several times throughout the school year and provided parents with a sustainable, less expensive alternative. 

**School uniforms** – volunteers helped to organise and collate school uniform orders, for the forthcoming school year. 

**Anniversary Tea Towels** – PTA helped to organise the very successful sale of Anniversary Tea Towels, raising £464.40 

Grant from Groundwork: £375 Allstate Donation: £1055 

Chromebooks have been ordered by the school, costing £5000.50, which will be paid for by PTA.
