## **Trustees Report April 2022 to March 2023** 

The St Joseph’s PTFA Committee was established in September 2014 to bring parents and teachers together to raise money to support and enable the school to buy facilities or equipment outside the normal (core) school budget and thus advance the education of the pupils. The committee is currently made up of 11 people: 10 parent representatives and 1 school representative:

The PTFA is registered with the Northern Ireland Charities Commission and PTA-UK.  From April 22 to 31 March 2023 the PTFA raised £3,643.47 by hosting various events. 

Below is a breakdown of what the committee approved to fund: 

Purchase Information 

Outdoor Classroom - £2,006.20 

Signature Works (Leaver’s Hoodys) for previous year and incoming year - £516 

Puddle suits re: Forest Friday school - £1,153.98 

We hold meetings each term to discuss our fundraising aims and indeed communicate regularly via our Whatsapp group. 

## **Financial position at 31 March 2023.** 

The charity’s account balance as at 31st March 2023 was £3,268.84 

The PTFA wish to thank all the staff and pupils of St Joseph’s Primary School, Strangford, parents/grandparents, the local church, all the local businesses and the Strangford Community for their continuing support of PTFA events.
