Parents and Friends of S￿delf0rd school have their constitution which was
modelled on the PTA UK model constitution. A copy is reviewed each year at the
AGM.

The aims of the Association ¢we: _
To provide opPort￿ltieS for parents l￿d f riends to meet each other.
To assist the school by raisiThJ f￿d$ for the benef it of the pupils.
To provide opportunities for members of the Association to attend meetings
to which speakers may be invited to tdk on subjects of interest.
The committee meets termly or as required in order to fulfil the aims of the
association as set out abo￿ (Three members shall constitute a quorum)

Main athievements last
The charity held a number of events in the post ye(tr to raise funds this included:
l. thristmas Fair~ Held on Tuesdoy 28 Nk)vember 2018 from 5pm-7pm in
5andelford School.
2. Pennies for PFA- Milk bottles sent otrt with pupils to collect pennies or
change. The milk bottles were taken ta the b(￿k omount deposited in
Parents and Friends aCco￿lt. The total collected was £480.55
3. Fun day was held on Tuesday 29" IAay 2018 and was a fantastic opportunity
for parents and carers to meet in school and take part in a sponsored walk.

This happened through PFA meetings. a beetle drive was orN¢ ised for parents to
attend, the Christmas fair and summer d(ry provided a great opportunity for
parents that otherwise would not get the chonce to meet to 9e* tO9ether in on
informal way.
An internet Safety talk was orwised for parents to attend and was run by local
PSNI in Sandelford School.
l. Mini bus insurance - £910.08
The PTA helps with the upkeep of the school minibus.
2. Building services
£2991.26
This money was given to help the school create o library/resource area
for the pupils to use in Middle School.
3. JP LeMard- £24.72
This was to provide items to the school for Hydrotherapy.
4. Primary ICT - £38.94
Sand timers to be used as part of sensory programme.
S. Therapy World - £315.36
Life jackets to be used as part of swimmiNJ/Hydrotherapy scheme.

Summer Scheme- £1￿￿)
A summer scheme is held in the school for our pupils in July and the
PFA makes a contribution towards this each year.
13. Steven Lowry - £IIOO (paid across the yelw in instalments) Money was
paid out to a fundiThJ consultant to help apply for fundiry opportunities
which included the Halifax Foundation grant and Community Foundation
9rant. The school is also able to use his services to apply for funding
opportunities.
14. North Coast Commwity Transport - £153.20 This was for a School
outin9 that pupils otherwise would not have been ¢Jble to avail of.
15. McKeefry Trust-£300 wos given to the school to use for Educatior￿1
purposes.
