Parish of Templepatrick and Donegore: Annual Report for Year End December 2022 by the Chairman of the Trustees Introduction: On behalf of the trustees of the Parish of Templepatrick and Donegore, l am pleased to present our Annual Report for the year ending December 31, 2022. to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. This report provides an overview of our activities. achievements, and financial performance during the reporting period. Overview of the Charity.. The Parish of Templepatrick and Donegore is a registered charity that serves the local community by providing religious services, pastoral care, and community outreach initiatives. Our mission is to promote spiritual growth, foster a sense of belonging. and support individuals and families in need within our parish. Activities and Achievements: 1. Religious Services.. Throughout the year, we conducted regular worship servIs, including Sundays and Wednesdays, mid-week discipleship and prayer meetings, and special ServIS on religious holidays. These seniices were well-attended, providing spiritual nourishment and fostering a sense of community among our parishioners. 2. Pastoral Care: We continued to provide pastoral care and support to individuals and families in need within our parish. Our dedicated team of intercessors prayed for the sick and those experiencing challenging life situations. The Rector made pastoral visits to every member and especially to those who are housebound or sick. We also organised prayer support to provide comfort during times of loss. 3. Community Outreach.. Our charity actively engaged with the local community through various outreach programs, especially the Community Soup Lunch every fortnight between October and April. These initiatives included hosting community events. organising fundraising activities, and partnering with local organisations to support vulnerable groups such as the elderly, children, and those facing financial hardship.. The parish supported Women's Aid ABCN. the Trussell Trust Food Bank in Antrim. the Simon Community and the NSPCC with practical and financial gifts this year through fundraising social events and donations. 4. Education and Youth Programmes: We provided Sunday School for children and Youth Fellowship for young adults, helping them deepen their understanding of their faith and instilling moral values. Financial Performance: During the year ending December 31, 2022, the Parish of Templepatrick and Donegore maintained sound financial management. We are grateful.for the continued support and
generous donations from our parishioners, which enabled us to carry out our charitable activities effectively. The financial statements for the reporting period have been independently audited and are available for review upon request. Looking Ahead: In the upcoming year, we intend to continue to:_ engage with the community through our social and spiritual events and courses provide pastoral care to members of the parish nurture spiritual growth for individuals of all ages. We would like to express our gratitude to our dedicated volunteers and supporters whose commitment and contributions have made our charitable endeavours possible. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Parish of Templepatrick and Donegore remains committed to serving the spiritual, emotional, and social needs of our parishioners and the wider community.
